Playshion Longboard Skateboard Cruiser | 39 Drop Through Long Board | 42 Pintail Longboards

I bought this board to ride around campus at my university. I skated as a child, and skating is much faster and more efficient than just walking to class. The board took far longer than expected to get to me, but it was well worth the wait. The bearings that come with the board are pretty terrible, so I would recommend Bones Reds bearings with spacers. I also loosened the trucks up significantly once I got my hands on it, and that really improved the flowiness of the board. Its shorter than your average longboard, so its not as good for beginners, but it is perfectly stable. The only other negative thing I have to say is that there is very little concave in the center of the skateboard. Some of my friends dislike that, but its never mattered to me. TL;DR This drop-through longboard is incredible for the price you pay and is also more nimble than boards longer than 39 inches. It is possible that you could get a bad board, but I got very lucky and mine is wonderful to ride!

The first board I received had wooden splinters on the side and chips in the top layer. As soon as I put in for an exchange, the company sent me a replacement that I received in 2 days. I would highly recommend buying a nice longboard from this company.

I just got this board and am fairly new at longboarding but hooked. This is my second board. My first one was a Retrospect pintail, which I liked, but then I got this board and it was a total game changer. I was falling on my ass everyday and starting to think I just didnt have it in me until I got this board. This thing carves like crazy! I can make really tight turns and the drop-through trucks make me feel closer to the earth and safer. Theres a decent amount of flex, which I personally like, it feels more stable and less rigid than my pintail. Ive actually started picking up some boardwalking tricks which Id never been able to do on the other board. This is like plug and play fun if youre a beginning longboarder.

I got this for my 11 year-old and have a different version from the same vendor for myself. We love them. They come out of the box ready and smooth. they are stable and easy to use. The height is great and doesnt require you to bend down too much... this is helpful if you cant do a bunch of pistol squats. Also, with it being lower to the ground my son that is learning can focus on balancing.

Im prone to GAS (gear acquiring syndrome) and a bad habit of mine is to invest in gear before Im committed to a hobby. Ive done a lot of research to understand the types of boards out there. If your serious about longboarding, you probably wont be on Amazon trying to find one here. Why? One argument is that you should support local skate shops and the brands that support the longboarding community. Another argument is that buying a cheap board will result in a less than enjoyable ride that will ultimately turn you off from longboarding. As a beginner with no stake in the longboarding community, it was important to me that I find a decent ride to cruise around in. I bought this board along with the Quest 42 longboard (one for me, and one for my fiance). Its good for what we use it for. We have paved hilly, concrete trails next to our house and its been a joy to ride around. This has a good center of gravity and nice big wheels to roll over dips. As for how comfortable the ride is, its not as smooth as a Quest longboard and it makes more creaks when making turns, but its more agile than the Quest (maybe because its shorter and its a drop through). Its nice and sturdy and I dont feel bad for beating it up. We had these boards for about 2 weeks now. For less than $50, we definitely got our moneys worth in time and enjoyment. I like that it came with a skate tool to tighten up the trucks. You definitely need to tighten them up every now and then so avoid speed wobbles if going downhill really fast. It also comes with stickers that I didnt care for... very childish but maybe if you have kids you can give it to them. In summary, if you are a beginner then this is a great way to start.

The board is exactly what you expect. Its a really good board...for the price you pay, which isnt much compared to top of the line longboard brands. Its a really fun board and after a day or two of riding its holding up well. Its really fun to carve on but anything more than a daily mail getter and you might want a better board. One of the wheels rattles and the griptape has started to chip off after only two days; however, for the price paid, this board is wonderful and a ton of fun.

I absolutely love this board. I have already owned different types of boards, includinga regular skateboard (for tricks), a regular cruiser board (larger wheels), and an electric skateboard (even though I still consider myself a beginner lol). I bought this longboard purely for curiosity, just want to see how it feels to stand on the longer deck. So far, I believe longboard is the best option for beginners (if you dont plan to learn tricks, at least for now). Because it gives you more stabilty and more rooms for your feet to move around. Once you feel more confident, you can try shorter board which are eaiser to carry around. Overall, I really like this board. The design is also the style I like, which was also the reason I wanted to purchase it in the first place. I recommed it to beginners who are curious about skateboading/longbaording but doesnt want to break their bank.

My grandson loves it. Can’t wait for the weather to change so he can really test it out. Our wood floors has had enough LOL. Not sure on weight it can withstand. My daughter who’s maybe 130 stood on it when we took out the box, we heard a lil cracking, sooooooo

Its a pretty good beginner board especially for the price. The wheels are very smooth which makes you go faster. Would definitely purchase again
