I thought this was a great board for beginners and noncostly. I definitely had fun practicing with it. I wasnt sure if longboarding was something for me but Im really liking it after this experience and am looking forward to upgrading the parts on this board.

Excellent board for what it costs. Large wheels to eat inconsistencies in the road, some flexibility in the board but still relatively stiff where you wont crack it and super smooth bearings out of the box. It is even slightly curved at the ends for you to pop it up like you would a standard skateboard which is pretty convenient! I personally love this board and ride it near daily to and from work and for leisure. Im a person that swears by these types of boards because a part of me is okay with accidentally snapping one of these boards rather than a bamboo or other wood longboard. Based on what I see though I think itll last a long time as long as no one goes out of their way to jump on the center of the board out of spite!

Love this board. Im a 28 year old female who has never skateboarded in her life but always wanted to. My boyfriend skateboards on occasion and I wanted to be able to tag along on a board instead of always using my bike. In comes this lovely little long board. It was perfect for me to learn on. The bearings are smooth but not too fast, the board has just the slightest bit of flex to it, and the trucks have plenty of mobility for turning this stretched out bad boy around corners. Wheels are an appropriate fit for the board. I would highly recommend this board for a beginner, I dont know how a seasoned skateboarder would feel, I know my boyfriend recommends changing the bearings for faster and longer coasts once Im comfortable enough.

I was looking for a casual commuting/riding board that wasnt too big, but wasnt small either. This board is good for someone my size (6 ft 200 lbs), but probably more comfortable for people slightly smaller than me. It has a really comfortable ride. The drop through allows for easing kick pushing, and the flex gives good response and balance, perfect for leisurely skating around. The kicktail isnt as useful as it looks. I changed out the bushings and the bearings for a smoother turn and longer roll time, as the stock ones werent great.

The whole thing cracked on the bottom. Now my son can’t ride it and it’s only about two months old. Update: excellent customer service. Customer service contacted me right away to see how they could help or fix the situation. They sent me a new board right away. So far it’s been great. For me when you have good customer service it goes a long way. Tells me they care about their product and their customers. My son was super excited and has been riding the board ever since he received. They did not have to respond or send us a new board but I appreciate that they did!

Well....I did not hop on it myself....however ....the teen instantly approved (which does not happen all that often really)!! The graphics on the board are beautiful ...the wheels are great....it came on time and undamaged with the correct tool to adjust wheels!! OK....I did get on it....I just did not go anywhere.......felt really good to me.....!!!!!!!

Product is great and was a reasonable amount for a beginner boarder. I purchased to spend time with my 18 yr old daughter. Board is balanced and easy to maneuver. Wheels and trucks that were standard are just fine for a beginner adult rider. Shipping container was not as expected upon delivery but seller was amazing in their response time and very willing to make things right! I highly recommend Funshion/ Playshion and their longboard product.

I decided to take up longboarding, and knew Id need a basic, beginners board to bang up and scratch as I learned. This board was everything I needed to learn on. Its stable and responsive. I tightened the bushings in the beginning for even more stability, and loosened them over time. The grip tape is definitely grippy, even when it gets wet or dirty. Even better, this board comes with a skate tool! Keep in mind though, youre getting what youre paying for. Two of my wheels dont spin quite as well as the others, and after getting Bones Reds bearings to replace the ABEC-9 bearings it came with, it seemed the problem was more with the trucks. Also, after riding for a few days outside, I discovered the front truck had bent upward already, making the front wheel hover a tiny bit off the ground--not the most durable. Still, the board handles well, and I have no other complaints! Overall: Great for beginners, inexpensive, free skate tool. Bang up a cheap board until you learn the basics, then graduate to a better board!

I just got this board today, and it seems fine. Im taking a star off because the packaging was inadequate and beat up. There was one piece of wadded up paper in the box to act as padding. The board didnt break, but does have a scratch on the paint. Im not going to return it because it will be covered in stickers soon. Just be aware about the packaging risks because theres a chance youll get a broken board in the mail. With the complaint about the packaging out of the way, lets talk about what you get for your money. You get a 39 inch long deck, which is close to the typical 40 or 41 inch drop through deck. I think this length is fine, its not worth the extra 20 bucks to buy a board with a 41 inch deck. The deck is made of maple, and is fairly stiff. Im 160 lbs and can get it to flex when I jump up and down on it, but only a little. Its 8-ply maple, so definitely on the stiffer side. You get 70mm wheels that are 78 durometer- they feel about right in terms of softness. The bearings dont spin great, but they get the job done. You cant get Bones Red bearings on a board of this price. The trucks are 7 wide, fairly standard fare. The bushings seem adequate. No complaints about the trucks or the bushings. The grip tape is grippy. The artwork and branding are a bit cheesy. The white Playshion branding on the grip tape can be fixed with black marker and the bottom can be covered in stickers, so Im not real concerned about the branding. Overall, you get a decent board that will let you try out longboarding without breaking the bank. This is probably the second best/cheapest option to borrowing one from a friend (in my case, none of my friends have a skateboard).

This board is really strong. It’s a bit heavy but that makes it more sturdy to stand on and skate. PROS- As a beginner myself I found this very easy to get used to and adjust according to how I skate. Standing on it isn’t shaky and it’s firm when skating, turning is also really smooth. The design is nice and simple. It comes with stickers and tools. CONS- It’s a little overwhelming at first to get used to how quickly the board picks up speed. Going down a slight hill caused it to gain a lot of speed. It’s also a bit heavy to carry around if you’re not using it and since it’s heavy. I also think it would be hard to do any tricks since it’s not flexible. Overall, a good starter longboard and if mine broke I would buy again. Recommend.
