Installed this speaker as a center speaker underneath my wall mounted 65 tv and it looks and sound great. What a nice improvement from my JVC center chanel standard speaker that looked ugly compared to an in-wall speaker. Installation was a breeze, sound is awesome, wife is happy my old college speakers are gone and the basement looks professional. Dont hesitate to buy.

Sounds great easy to install

Im using this as the center channel speaker for a 5.1 sound system. I used all polk audio vanishing series speakers (65-RT front speakers and 620-RT for the surrounds) with a Yamaha RX-671 receiver. I appreciated the swivel tweeter feature since I wasnt able to place my speaker in the ideal position. I had a stud near the center of the wall were I have my TV and couldnt place the center channel exactly in the middle. I really like the sound produced by the vanishing series speakers in general and love the clarity which you hear with all various instruments used in music. Like many other in-wall speakers the base is not that great but for me it doesnt matter since I have a subwoofer as well.

What can i say? Its Polk. Works great, sounds great. Let it bake in for a few days.

I bought a house with a normal-size living (okay...its small). The house was pre-wired for surround-sound and a co-worker of mine who used to perform as a musician for a living recommended these speakers. He stated that you cannot beat the sound and quality for the size and price. He was absolutely correct. These are perfect for my living room that is approximately 12x15. I have this center speaker and two Polk Audio RC65i 2-way and two Polk Audio RC80i 2-way in ceiling speakers. By the way, I am so glad that I had someone put them in the ceiling. I had several people tell me that it is okay to mount them on the wall. I didnt want crap hanging from my ceiling. I have higher ceilings, but they certainly arent 20-foot ceilings. I whole-heartedly recommend the speakers - and putting them in the ceiling if you are able to.
