> 24 hourit doesnt get any better.. use this on horses, dogs and ME, for cuts and scratches, it draws out the soreness , i use it overnight under a bandaide or sometimes leave it on during the day as well depending on what im using it for, my mother used this on us fifty plus years ago... when i got into a yellow jacket nest, got stung 30plus times, THIS is what worked.. i did my own experiment and used this on one half of the stings, and other so called remedies on the other half, Porters is the one that won out overall, the others that i didnt put Porters on - itched for weeks and hurt, so much for the other remedies, i got three cans of this in the house at all times.. i do NOT care about the menthol scent, I didnt get it to use it for Perfume, I got it to heal, as for animals, in the summer, it keeps the flies out of wounds and dogs tend to not lick it off like they do other meds.. just be sure and test it on your pets in small area, as you should do with all things used on animals, they cant talk , and they cant tell you if they are allergic or not..

IT CAN BE USED FOR SEVERAL DIFFERENT THINGS, IT HAS 1 DRAW BACK AND THAT IS THE SMELL BUT WE HAVE GOTTEN OVER THIS BECAUSE HOW FAST IT WORKS. IT ONLY TAKES A SMALL AMOUNT OF CREME. THE TIN WILL LAST A WHILE.. AT ONE TIME YOU COULD BUY IT IN STORES BUT NOW ONLY ONLINE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Porter"s Liniment Salve - Original Formula
History
The George H Rundle Company was founded in 1871 in Piqua, Ohio where they produced the original Liquid Porter’s Pain King Liniment. During the prohibition, The Rundle Company was forced to discontinue their original formula due to the high alcohol content in the liquid liniment. Market demand brought about the creation of Porter’s Pain King Salve in 1916. The salve formula was based off the original liquid version; but the solid form required no alcohol which allowed sales to continue during the prohibition. Rumor has it that the Rundle Company was so confident in the product that they would only accept payment from satisfied customers! The George H Rundle Company went out of business in 1969. At that time W.E Roecker moved the operation to Covington, Ohio where the Roecker family continued to produce the original formula for 52 years. In 2021 the operation was moved to Mechanicsburg, Ohio where the next generation will continue the 105-year tradition.
Use
A soothing first aid salve. Aids to prevent infections in minor cuts, burns and abrasions. Provides temporary relief of discomfort due to minor burns, sunburn, chapped skin, non-poisonous insect bites and itching. The salve has a drawing quality, which works particularly well on slivers of metal, wood, or glass, beneath the surface of the skin.

Applications
