PORTERS Liniment Salve, 2 Count

> 3 dayI will admit that the scent is like a 1970s nursing home, but the results are something I have never seen in any other balm or salve. This stuff will help everything from dry skin to an open wound. You can pack this into an infected wound (after cleaning it with hydrogen peroxide) and then the next day it will be reduced in redness and swelling and starting to heal already!

> 3 dayI love the smell. It smells like cloves. I used it to moisturizing dry feet, draw out splitters and catcus needles. Use for bad sunburns and burns in general. Husband family has used for years. We do not travel without it!!!

Greater than one weekI have painful, cracked fingertips and my sister-in-law told me about this product. I read the reviews on Amazon (even about the smell) and felt it was definitely worth a try. When it arrived I could smell it as soon as I opened the Amazon box (the tins were in another box inside). I immediately tried it, thinking the smell would be worth it if the product worked. I was only able to leave it on for about 30 min, the medicinal smell was just too overwhelming (I used it only on the tips on my two thumbs). Ive tried a few more times, using the tiniest bit I could get away with but I still could leave it on for only a little while. Having said all that - I can tell the product works, but it would work faster for me if I could stand the smell longer. I think this product works well, but just be aware of the smell. Its the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars. Oh, and to store the tins I have to put them in ziploc bags then put them back in the box - otherwise I can smell them as soon as I open the drawer.

> 3 dayOur family has been using this salve for over 60 years. It is great for finger cracks in the winter, and any cut that is sore. It used to be sold in drug stores, so I was happy to get it from Amazon! It has analgesic qualities so it heals and takes pain away as well. The original purpose was for the cows teats as a treatment for their udders. Cant find anything else that works as good as this salve! I happen to be a little weird, because I love the smell! It doesnt bother me at all. You really dont need a lot of it for healing a cut or cracked fingers.

02-06-2025BEST. EVER. My grandfather used this all the time for everything. Any itch, burn, cut, or sting - out came the salve. You can smell it before you see it! It does have an unique smell, that’s for sure, but it will heal ANYTHING and provides instant relief. I bought this for everyone’s Christmas stocking and it was a hit. I keep it in great supply at my house and give it graciously to others. I lather it on and can feel the healing taking place!

> 3 dayOur familys drawing salve. Its been used on dogs, horses, cattle, and cats as well as humans. Good drawing salve and covers wounds to help facilitate healing on humans, covers wounds to keep flies off so animal can heal also. Doesnt smell like roses, lol, but my entire family swears by it! Starting with my grandfather back in the 60s? I remember for sure in the 70s... I most recently used on my 16yr old male cat who suffered a puncture wound on his neck from a feral cat, I drained the infection and covered entire area with this salve. Less than a week later, I no longer needed to apply. This works folks! It works!
