> 3 dayI grew up using Stuff from Canada as my French-Canadian grandparents called it. It was Rundells Salve back then and they got it when they went to Canada to visit family! The smell is strong, but to me it is nostalgic! Far beyond the smell is its ability to heal wounds of all kinds! Ive staved off infections from cat bites/scratches, slivers, burns, hangnails, various cuts and punctures...more things than I can count! It also works wonders overnight for severe chapped/cracked skin and lips!! Not to mention it lasts forever!!! Its worth its weight in gold of you ask me!!!

17-11-2024BEST. EVER. My grandfather used this all the time for everything. Any itch, burn, cut, or sting - out came the salve. You can smell it before you see it! It does have an unique smell, that’s for sure, but it will heal ANYTHING and provides instant relief. I bought this for everyone’s Christmas stocking and it was a hit. I keep it in great supply at my house and give it graciously to others. I lather it on and can feel the healing taking place!

> 3 dayLove this product. All you do is cover area with product & a bandaid. The next morning it will pull a splinter out or it will pull infection out or it will take the redness out of skin problems.

> 3 dayIt is amazing salve! I am an RN who battled a dermatitis for years on my feet with no relief despite a whole array of medicated ointments and cremes. Dermatologists could not make a specific diagnosis and treatment was elusive. Every time I found myself in a drug store I would halfheartedly look at the lotions and ointments hoping one day I would find relief from this dry itchy red rash. Literally nothing worked. Finally I saw I thought Id try another & bought Porters. I washed my skin with the usual oatmeal wash, dried it, applied porters and covered it overnight. No itch, it stayed moist, actually felt cool & wonderful. It is ever so gradually getting better with an occasional flare up & instant relief with Porters.

> 3 dayThis is an awesome old fashion salve. It is analgesic for pain as well as antiseptic and antibacterial. It really speeds healing noticeably. I use it on strains, sprains and bruises as well as cuts and abrasions. It has just the right amount of drying action to avoid the gooey ness of some thinner antibiotic salves, and moisturizing, to keep the scrape from drying and cracking. It does have a slight oder which some might notice. I happen to find it somewhat pleasing. In any event the healing properties are well worth it! My first aid kit is never without porter salve!

> 3 dayOur family has been using this salve for over 60 years. It is great for finger cracks in the winter, and any cut that is sore. It used to be sold in drug stores, so I was happy to get it from Amazon! It has analgesic qualities so it heals and takes pain away as well. The original purpose was for the cows teats as a treatment for their udders. Cant find anything else that works as good as this salve! I happen to be a little weird, because I love the smell! It doesnt bother me at all. You really dont need a lot of it for healing a cut or cracked fingers.

> 3 dayBeen using this for years. I dont care for the smell, kind of strong, but, totally worth it. Minor burns, cuts, sore areas, whatever, put a little on the area, add a band-aid and by morning, feels so much better!
