> 3 dayGrowing up, my family used this salve for cuts and bruises and rashes. Years ago it was used on farms to treat injuries on the farm animals. It takes the pain of sores and injuries away and the sores heal very quickly. I first used it at my uncles farm. He used it on his animals as well as the family.

> 3 dayI hope they never quit making this or change the formula, it is amazing! I use it on any skin ailments. Works in 24 - 48 hours upon use. My finger had puncture wound that was getting red and infected, infection was gone after applying a generous amount and a bandage for two nights. Used it on my dog with allergy dermatitis, gone in three days! One can will last a very long time. A little goes a long ways!

> 3 dayWe have used Porter’s Salve for years. My kids called it “magic circle medicine” when they were little. It works on just about anything. Small cuts, minor burns, splinters, bee stings, etc... I keep one tin at home, one in the camper, and one at work.

> 3 dayLove this product. All you do is cover area with product & a bandaid. The next morning it will pull a splinter out or it will pull infection out or it will take the redness out of skin problems.

Greater than one weekMy family has been using this for decades and it works better than anything else on the market. First, it takes the pain away almost immediately, especially if you glob it on. Second, it heals cuts, scrapes, minor burns, and skin irritations faster than other products. It also kept wounds from scarring that clearly should have scarred. Yes, it has a strong scent, but that’s hardly an issue when you feel so much better! Pro-tip #1: use a cotton swab or a similar “tool” to put the salve on the wound or bandage: if you use a finger, then eat with that hand even after washing your hands, you will taste it. Pro-tip #2: glob the salve on the wound and kinda squish it in there - it works better if you aren’t stingy with it.

> 3 dayI am a third generation user. It is amazing for skin irritations, cuts, etc. My children ages 17 and 19 have been using on their own for a number of years as well and cannot believe how great it works for their skin. Quite the smell but the outcome is definately worth it. Since my kids grew up with it they actually like the smell, even my daughter-strange but true.
