> 24 hourWorks fine but the one I received was NOT normally open as some of the answers to that question said.... it was normally closed. It did read 59A on the package. No big problem but, since I was connecting this to my home automation computer whose scripts I had written for an NO contact, I had to go back and change all of them. It works well, however, and appears well made for the price.

> 24 hourLove it. Use this for my garage door. and have it linked to my Wemo Maker. Simple to set-up and this was the first time I ever set something like this up. Brilliant.

> 24 hourIt is not specified. But, I would have expected this switch to be normally closed, such that it is closed when not activated by the magnet. Its not! It works in the opposite mode, such that it closes when activated by the magnet.

> 24 hourThis switch is Normally Open, BUT Closed WHEN in vicinity of the magnet. I use it on my garage door to operate a security system feedback circuit. It is provided with about 2.5 ft of flexible metal conduit so that the wire can not easily be cut with a knife when the door is shut.
