> 3 dayWorks well, probably best option for the money. I was unable to mount this on the side near the steel track, there was too much interference with the magnet to activate the switch. I opted to mount to the top of the garage which was not perfect because the top of my garage panel is not flat. Overall, very pleased with the result. The product itself is very well built.

> 3 dayThis thing wired up in a few seconds and provided a much more reliable easy to mount solution for my garage door sensor. I had a cheap plastic white sensor wired up first and it was a pain to get to reliably recognize and would also keep shifting and getting dislodged. This thing comes with a serious bracket and plenty of ways to confidently mount. Plus the most important part, it has a very generous tolerance on the sensor, so placement is nowhere near as precise as the little cheap plastic magnetic sensors you can get in bulk

> 3 dayI used these to create a raspberry pi based garage door alert for when the doors are left open accidentally. So far, so good. I removed the magnetized bar from the bracket and attached it directly to the top edge of the door. Besides the screws and washers holding the bar to the bracket, there are no mounting screws, so youll need some for the receiver and bracket.
