Terrible, sounds like a revving dirt bike engine. This is my third one and it’s by far the loudest. Can’t wait till this one breaks too

Based on when it was ordered, it arrived in a very timely fashion. The noise level is extremely quiet compared to the one that came in the original box with the Xbox machine from the store. It was a gift for our son at Christmas, so we have not used it long; however, we are very pleased with it up to this point.

Just buy a factory one. The noise level is ridiculous.

I cant believe something so small can make so much noise. It sounds like a redlined car shifting gears constantly. You can hear it over everything, to the point that its hard to hear TV at a normal volume over it. Its like they found a fan with bad bearings, and theres a loose wire hitting the blades. To be fair, it does get quieter when the Xbox is off or sleeping. Itll be even quieter when I put it back in its box and return it.

Noise can be too much sometimes. It isnt constant, not enough to not keep it.

Its worth the $25, but if you mainly play demanding games (any large game with high resolution and lots of assets) this thing will get noisy. Heres the issue. I dont mind noise when its consistent. This thing isnt. It sounds like a tiny race car revving up its engine. If you have loud speakers or headphones its not an issue, but on low volume this might be a deal breaker. Regardless its hit or miss, and cheaper than a normal power brick. Shipping was fast, so thats always nice.
