> 24 hourThis is a perfect gadget to connect up to 7 USB devices to your laptop. It works great with no reduction in performance. I love it! I can have external hard drives, printer, phone, etc all connected at once. Prior to that I would have to unplug one to plug in another. I recommend this if you are running more than one device at the same time.

> 24 hourI am using this with my Dell laptop as it only has 2 USB ports but I have so much to plug in as far as mouse, keyboard, camera, speakers, microphone, printer, charging stand for phone and cooling fan/dock for laptop. This allows me to plug all those devices in without issue. Love the ability to turn them off and on with the push of a button if needed, say for example you JUST want to be extra cautious with your webcam and want to make sure no one can turn it on remotely? Press the button on the hub to turn power off to that device! LOVE it! Hub is compact and great design. Small power brick when is great. LOVE that you can plug it into your device using USB-3 OR USB-C! Thank you for this!

> 24 hourFirst, this USB hub looks nice sitting on my desk. It has no overly flashy branding and the gloss black upper section is a fine complement to the matte black lower section. But besides looking nice it functions extremely well with full USB 3.0 data transfer speeds. But what I needed it for was the ability to hard disconnect hard drives, microphones, cameras, and so on with the press of a button. All those things vampire power while they are plugged in, but not when they are hard disconnected and this hub makes that easy to do. The buttons are soft touch in that they give no feedback when pressed other than the very bright blue LED turning on or off. Which suits me because tactile feedback clicks are not something every device needs anyway. The hub is optionally powered by a wall wart so that more power hungry devices can be used with it, but if you have any concerns about power, be sure to unplug it when you dont need it. Its idle current draw is not very much, but when you add together all the idle current draw sources in your home, it can be a surprising amount added to your power bill each month. Its a great hub. It looks great, it is optionally powered, it transfers data fast, and it allows hard disconnects of devices with the touch of a button. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who needs a few more USB 3.0 ports.

> 24 hourThis does everything they claim. The only nitpicks I have are 1) the name of the company could be smaller and on the bottom. 2) the connector piece of the adapter is hard plastic. If youre using the adapter and the port next to it is being used, it will put some pressure on it. Of course, most likely, you can plug whatever is next to it into this hub, but if youre using all of the ports on your computer, its something to keep in mind. Will update review if anything changes.

> 24 hourWow! I didnt realize how bad my USB speeds were until I bought this updated hub from RSHTECH. The speed comparisons are below and in the photo. I used the same disk drive for testing using Blackmagic Disk test on my iMac. The photo shows both new and old USB hubs. I like the fact that its smaller with incredibly improved speeds. Each USB port can be individually enabled/disabled. Highly recommend this for a reasonably (low priced) upgrade. A really awesome 7 port USB Hub. NEW USB 3.0 Speeds: Write: 175.7 MB/s Read: 178.6 MB/s OLD USB hub: Write: 39.2 MB/s Read: 39.9 MB/s

> 24 hourThis hub is exactly what I am looking for as a solution to sit on my desk. It looks great, built well, but still offers great bandwidth. Build Quality: The body of the hub is made of aluminum. It has a nice black powder coating. Scratching the body doesnt seem to leave any marks, and the oils from my hand dont seem to be a problem. It feels to have enough wait to it to keep it from moving around my desk, without being too heavy. There isnt any unnecessary branding other than the company name, with no tacky stickers or colors. Accessories: The hub comes with its own power supply and an USB B to USB A/C cable. Its rated at 15 Watts (3 Amps 5 Volts). The cables have a nice, heavy click into place and dont feel like they want to come back out easily. The USB cable is long enough (3.3 Ft) to reach my desktop with a little extra to spare. The USB cable has a large diameter. Without cutting it open, this would imply good insulation between wires and having all the pins needed connected without cutting corners. The Power supply cable looks to be about the same length. Packaging: I personally liked the packaging. It was the perfect size, came with minimal plastic, and could act as a travel box for the hub in your backpack. Interface: Each USB port has its own power button that has a nice blue LED that isnt too bright. The buttons click nicely and are smooth in motion. Speed: I personally think, for the price, the price to speed is very acceptable. In my screenshot, I did get about half the write speeds in Sequence tests, but the write speeds are still high 30 MBs (I tested with a cheaper SanDisk USB Drive). For most applications, it really isnt a problem. For high precision applications and ultra-high speeds, youd likely need something different, but on the other hand, youd likely be speeding $100+ for something of this caliper. Unfortunately, I do not have a device fast enough to check thresholds, but I feel confident the hub should be able to achieve the advertised USB 3.0 5Gbps rating. Extra: Even when your computer is off, this hub will still charge your device. This is super nice for charging headphones, cellphones, etc. The color matches the rest of my other devices on my desk. I dont have a USB voltage Amps monitor tool, but youre given 3 amps to share over 7 ports. There arent too many devices that I can think of that would require high amps to function. I dont see 3 amps not being enough for a majority of users. Overall: I like this hub, it does what I want, does it well for the price, looks good on my desk, and gives me control for each port. It has some extra features, like charging at all times, and is something Ill keep on my desk for the foreseeable future. Cons: I personally dont have any. Im quite happy with it. There are definitely quicker hubs out there, but again, for the cost, it does everything I want and then some. Time will tell if it will last for the next few years, but given they have a good warranty policy and offer the ability to get free extended warranty, Id like to believe most companies would only offer extended warranties for free if they thought their producted wouldnt last at least that amount of time. Sure, they could be a fly by night company, but given I have used other products from them and have like those as well, I have confidence in their products.

> 24 hourI have a 4 port hub that I replaced with this - they are basically the same size. This is very compact, and well built. The sides are metal and very sturdy. It comes with the power adapter and cable that you need to use. It powered all of my devices just fine, and I got full speed on my USB drive transfers. This hub is great and easy to use, I highly recommend.

> 24 hourI needed something to turn off my flight pedals as they seemed to interfere. I now have all my peripherals hooked up through this and it’s nice to be able to switch them off with the push of a button. The USB cable is unusual so I worry about breaking g it or losing it but that’s a minor gripe.
