> 3 dayMy primary reason for snagging this was the fact that I have a game controller I dont keep plugged in all the time. When I do plug it in, it causes a set of external hard drives to briefly drop and return. This, with its independent power supply, has solved that issue. I do like the option of using either USB-C or USB-A to tie in. I opted for the C plug because adapters be funny sometimes. I do wish the included cords were 5 instead of 3.3, or at least the power cord. Made do with what I had onhand though. Long as it holds up over time, Im happy.

> 3 dayThe Powered USB Hub ABC is a great gadget for those with multiple electronic devices. It provides ample ports to charge and connect different devices at once, making it convenient and efficient. However, I have noticed that if I leave it plugged in for an extended period of time, it tends to stop working and requires me to unplug it and plug it back in. Its a minor inconvenience, but its something to keep in mind. Overall, I think its a useful gadget to have on hand.

> 3 dayOverall Upgraded USB hub works well as described in the product description. It has 7 usb ports and one Type C/USB extension to connect to Laptop & Power adaptor. Successfully able to charge mobiles, fitbits and portable chargers. data transfer from pendrive and SSD portable drive also tested. couldnt find any issues in data transfer. All 7 USB ports has on/off buttons next to it, which helps in saving power and also to eject drives safely. I was already using RSHTECH 4 port usb hub. compared to that upgraded version has more ports, Type C extension and little extra speed in data transfer.

> 3 dayThis is a well made powered USB hub. I especially like the aluminum housing. It is machined well and it looks and feels like a quality product. No cheap plastic look to it. That was one reason I chose this hub, the other is that it is a powered hub. It comes with its own power adapter to provide power to your USB devices. Note that this is not intended for charging devices, but to provide sufficient bus power to all of your connected devices. If youve ever tried using a non-powered USB hub with a lot of ports, you know things can go sideways if you plug too many devices in--or just a couple of power hungry ones. Being independently powered removes that issue. It also comes with push button power switches for each port. I havent tried them yet but they may be handy for disconnecting things like webcams that you may not want on all of the time. Transfer speeds to my external USB drives are the same as if they were plugged into the PC. Thats about the only way I can test the speeds.

Greater than one weekThis is a solid powered hub for situations where you need 7 USB 3.0 ports. In my case it Im using it with a number of external drives, consolidating storage and building backups. For this task it works marvelously and Im able to get close to maximum rated speeds out of my USB 2.x and USB 3.0 drives. Good product.

> 3 dayThis does everything they claim. The only nitpicks I have are 1) the name of the company could be smaller and on the bottom. 2) the connector piece of the adapter is hard plastic. If youre using the adapter and the port next to it is being used, it will put some pressure on it. Of course, most likely, you can plug whatever is next to it into this hub, but if youre using all of the ports on your computer, its something to keep in mind. Will update review if anything changes.

> 3 dayWow! I didnt realize how bad my USB speeds were until I bought this updated hub from RSHTECH. The speed comparisons are below and in the photo. I used the same disk drive for testing using Blackmagic Disk test on my iMac. The photo shows both new and old USB hubs. I like the fact that its smaller with incredibly improved speeds. Each USB port can be individually enabled/disabled. Highly recommend this for a reasonably (low priced) upgrade. A really awesome 7 port USB Hub. NEW USB 3.0 Speeds: Write: 175.7 MB/s Read: 178.6 MB/s OLD USB hub: Write: 39.2 MB/s Read: 39.9 MB/s

> 3 dayUsing this device for about 2 weeks, I have been used all 7 ports occasionally and none have failed. I have seen no slow down, and no overheating. This device seems to be working well with no issues I really love the USB-A to USB-C Adapter that I never have to look for or lose. I have been getting on average 170+ transfer speeds is awesome! Being able to toggle on and off each USB port individually is big positive and knowing that they are on and off (with the light) is great. This charged my Ipad and Laptop simultaneously (though admittedly, not quite as fast as original power supplies). I love this device is very compact and powerful and looks pretty cool with my setup. 7 USB ports is perfect for my setup. I recommend this device for anyone that needs a quality hub with many ports, super fast speeds, Needs USB-A or USB-C, dependable (RSHTECH devices work, I have a few and none have failed yet), are affordable and look great.

> 3 dayThis USB hub functions extremely well with full USB 3.0 data transfer speeds. It has the capability to hard disconnect external hard drives, microphones, cameras, printers, etc with the press of a button. The buttons are soft touch and have a blue LED turning on or off to show which ports are active. Its a great hub. It is optionally powered and it transfers data fast. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who needs a few more USB 3.0 ports. I am replacing my old USB hub TENDAK USB 3.0 which is not working any more. Very compact given the number of ports on it. This hub is exactly what I am looking for as a solution to sit on my desk. It looks great, built well and still offers great bandwidth. The body of the hub is made of aluminum. The hub comes with its own power supply and an USB B to USB A/C cable. Its rated at 15 Watts (3 Amps 5 Volts). The USB cable is long enough (3.3 Ft) to reach my desktop with a little extra to spare. With it being both USB A and USB C, this lets me use it on both my home PC and my work laptop which is type c mainly. Overall: I like this hub, it does what I want, does it well for the price, looks good on my desk, and gives me control for each port. It has some extra features, like charging at all times, they have a good warranty policy and offer the ability to get free extended warranty. I have used other products from RSHTECH and have like those as well, I have confidence in their products. Cons: I personally dont have any. Im quite happy with it.
