> 3 dayThis USB hub works great! I especially love the buttons to turn off and on the devices that I have connected. I also love that this hub has seven ports instead of the standard four ports. Definitely recommend this.

Greater than one weekThe compact size, the simplicity, the convenience of charging seven electronic devices simultaneously, the option to turn on only the port that is needed vs have all seven ports drawing energy simultaneously -- all of these qualities make this a useful and appealing tool for contemporary households that have phones, pads, laptops that often require charging at the same time. The unit comes w/an adapter for USB-A devices as well.

> 3 dayOverall Upgraded USB hub works well as described in the product description. It has 7 usb ports and one Type C/USB extension to connect to Laptop & Power adaptor. Successfully able to charge mobiles, fitbits and portable chargers. data transfer from pendrive and SSD portable drive also tested. couldnt find any issues in data transfer. All 7 USB ports has on/off buttons next to it, which helps in saving power and also to eject drives safely. I was already using RSHTECH 4 port usb hub. compared to that upgraded version has more ports, Type C extension and little extra speed in data transfer.

> 3 dayThis is a basic USB hub with 7 USB type A ports running at the USB 3.0 standard speed. It has a nice piano-black finish and each port can be individually activated. The hub must be connected with a USB type B plug, which is supplied. The cable has a USB type A/C combo on the opposite end, which is a nice touch. I tested the hub with my Intel Mac and had no issues with any device I plugged into it. The individual on/off switches work as expected. I do not normally have any external hard drives connected using a hub, since Macs come with Thunderbolt ports and is what I use. If you do plan to hook up one or more hard drives, I would test the throughput before settling on using any hub. In theory, SATA hard drives and SSDs should work ok, but if you have one of the latest NVME crazy fast external SSDs I would expect that you would be killing your throughput. If you intend to fill up most of the slots it also pays to double check that the supplied power and amperage are sufficient. Im awarding the hub the full 5 stars as I feel it works as advertised and is well priced in the middle of the market for similar devices. There are tons and tons of USB hubs or all different configurations, but if this one with 7 type A ports is what you need, it is worth checking out.

> 3 dayThis powered USB HUB worked exactly as expected providing 7 USB 3.0 ports for my computer setup. Everything worked smoothly. My mouse (USB dongle) never skipped at all as with some other USB Hubs. The USB Flash drive Read/Write speeds were as fast as the drive could keep up. Another nice/unique feature was the seven Blue power On LEDs also flashed to indicate on going activities. Lastly, the aluminum housing felt solid and looked premium.

> 3 dayMy primary reason for snagging this was the fact that I have a game controller I dont keep plugged in all the time. When I do plug it in, it causes a set of external hard drives to briefly drop and return. This, with its independent power supply, has solved that issue. I do like the option of using either USB-C or USB-A to tie in. I opted for the C plug because adapters be funny sometimes. I do wish the included cords were 5 instead of 3.3, or at least the power cord. Made do with what I had onhand though. Long as it holds up over time, Im happy.

> 3 dayThis is a compact powered USB hub, each connection has its own power button. The connections are firm and stable, no wobbling of connections. Quite reasonably priced. This is truly one of the best ones I have seen in over 20 years as an IT professional.

Greater than one weekThis USB hub functions extremely well with full USB 3.0 data transfer speeds. It has the capability to hard disconnect external hard drives, microphones, cameras, printers, etc with the press of a button. The buttons are soft touch and have a blue LED turning on or off to show which ports are active. Its a great hub. It is optionally powered and it transfers data fast. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who needs a few more USB 3.0 ports. I am replacing my old USB hub TENDAK USB 3.0 which is not working any more. Very compact given the number of ports on it. This hub is exactly what I am looking for as a solution to sit on my desk. It looks great, built well and still offers great bandwidth. The body of the hub is made of aluminum. The hub comes with its own power supply and an USB B to USB A/C cable. Its rated at 15 Watts (3 Amps 5 Volts). The USB cable is long enough (3.3 Ft) to reach my desktop with a little extra to spare. With it being both USB A and USB C, this lets me use it on both my home PC and my work laptop which is type c mainly. Overall: I like this hub, it does what I want, does it well for the price, looks good on my desk, and gives me control for each port. It has some extra features, like charging at all times, they have a good warranty policy and offer the ability to get free extended warranty. I have used other products from RSHTECH and have like those as well, I have confidence in their products. Cons: I personally dont have any. Im quite happy with it.

> 3 dayUsing this with a half dozen RTL SDRs and its working fantastic. I get great bandwidth for my SDRs over the USB hub and into the PC, zero issues this far. Very satisfied with the performance, form factor and features of this hub. I had tried this setup with a previous USB 3 hub and it just couldnt handle the bandwidth but this one has no problems whatsoever. Its fast and very well made.
