Greater than one weekInstalled this Powermax just on 2 years ago and it has run, and still runs great!! Fans kick in every now and then but the best part is my house batteries are charging so much better now. I went through a couple of house batteries when I realized it was the power converter charger (Progressive Dynamics) that was pretty much cooking the batteries. Not so anymore with the 3 stage charging from the Powermax. The unit was a little larger than the original but with a Dremel tool and a few well-placed cuts in the main Parallax/Magnetek power center housing, I was able to get it installed neatly. Installed in a 2007 Winnebago Access 29T.

> 3 dayI used this unit to replace an 80 AMP Intellicharger in a 40 5th wheel travel trailer/toy hauler that is in year round use. The unit replaced had been severely damaged by a mysterious power surge on the 120v AC input along with several other appliances in the trailer. It is working perfectly and having no trouble doing what its supposed to do. If the Trailer were not on nearly continuous AC shore power I might have gone with a higher output PS/charger but this one does just fine at less than half the cost of the unit it replaced. I reserved one star in my rating because who knows how long it will last.

> 3 dayThe length and width were ok but depth of my distribution panel was short. I was able to cut off one side of mounting feet and now is ok. The 3 stage rate is exactly as specified. The fan noise is noticeable but not excessive. Very satisfied with operation at this point.

> 3 dayI am using the inverter to charge 2 deep cycle batteries for use in a small cabin in the woods. The cabin utilities rv 12vdc appliances, water heater, water pump, refrigerator, furnace, exhaust fan, usb outlets and lighting. The 2 batteries deplete to about 40% in 24hrs and using generator 110vac power, the inverter will fully recharge the batteries in about 2-3hrs. The inverter puts out very little heat and the fan only runs periodically for a minute and then shuts off. The inverter makes no sounds except while the fan is running. The only downside is the green green light which indicates the inverter is powered by AC voltage. Its fairly bright.
