Install was easy. Mounting holes were same spacing but 1/2” wider then old one. No biggie. You do hear the fan kick on and off if all is quiet in motor home. (But how often is that). The fan should allow for longevity. I like the constant even voltage, and keeping my batteries charged. It does still work if battery is removed.

Needed it for our travel trailer, as soon as it was installed everything worked the way there supposed to.

So far so good I bought this to replace my old RV converter that was boiling my batteries pretty badly and this things worked like a charm for the last month. This thing is QUIET! No more incessant humming from the old piece of crap I had. Will update if anything changes.

So far so good, I use it to charge the two house batteries and all the other dc stuff in the bus,If you get an over load like I did due to my wiring error it shuts unit down an says OL ,then you just power it down unplug and restart once your wiring is good again ,It puts out 3 separate charge amounts allowing constant power to what needs juice, the 14.9 volts for house batteries ,Im pretty happy with the unit ,the fan tends to run a fair bit but its not noisy and hasnt changed since Ive had it and its ran for months non stop.

My original was narrow vertical mount and a defunct company. I was able to have enough space to floor mount this near original area. It seems to be doing the intended job of keeping the coach batteries charged and the rest of the 12 volt system up proper level. The noise level of the cooling fan is quite minimal and actually an assurance that it is working. The 55 amp unit was considerably less expensive than other makes of same amp range. So time will tell if it is less expensive or cheap junk. Ive had it only a couple months; so far, so good. Id give it 5 stars if it would create its own power !!

Priced right. Good quality unit. I removed the World Products power supply and easily slid this in its place making no mods . Received it the day before leaving on my vacation. Charges my agm batteries well. Fan comes on as needed for cooling and does not run excessively, or as noisy like the World unit. There is a green led light next to the fuse that is handy for quickly check that it is functioning. I did not want to cut the ac plug off to wire it in so I used the end of an extension cord for the connection. this way I did not cut into the products original wiring. I am very happy with the performance of this converter/charger.

The grill over the fan was bent in against the fan. I pulled it out and it works .
