> 3 dayReally enjoyed this story though I found some elements hard to reconcile with the general existing Wolf shifter mythology. Abby and Bas were characters I took an immediate liking too. I thought the background info on Abby and the relationship with her mother was a bit throwaway. It barely seemed necessary to the book. It seemed odd there was pretty much no background info on Bas. I would have liked more depth surrounding the crisis and the aftermath. Specific scenes with the Congressman would have enhanced the drawdown. Plus we dont know what happened with Willie Jr et al. It kind of felt unfinished.

> 3 dayThis third addition to the series is a standalone with an HEA. It is one of the better shifter series Ive read, with well developed characters and storylines. While it isnt necessary to read prior books in the series to enjoy this book, they do provide background for the characters, locations and events. And they are great reads. Bas Lanier is the alpha of the largest wolf shifter pack in Wild Lake and the CEO of the packs businesses. Abby Winslow is a law student interning at the local state representatives office. They meet when Bas charges into their office carrying iron traps, and blaming the representative for their being on his land. They meet again when Bas rescues her from a rainstorm after she misses her bus, then from the advances of a drunken classmate outside a bar. But her boss has her researching property seizure laws land titles. And as she gets to know Bas better, her instincts tell her the congressman and his aid are not what they pretend to be. And her dilemma becomes whether to follow her instincts and her heart, putting her future in law in jeopardy, or to stay within her contractual confidentiality obligations, securing her future. This is a KU Library read.

> 3 dayI received this book has an ARC for an honest review I am in LOVEEEEEEEE Oh my!!!!! This story did not disappoint and carried on well for the series. This wolf shifter IS my favorite by far. If you are looking for a series that keeps your attention well This is the one I recommend for you. Bas is AWESOME and I love his strength and laid back attitude. Abby is a good counter point to Bas but sometimes I felt like smacking her because she fought against what was just gonna happen. READ this you will love the series and I love that each book follows a shifter from a previous story.

Greater than one weekAnother great book from this author! A first person point-of-view story about an alpha wolf shifter and the college student that is his fated mate. Plenty of heat and mystery!

> 3 dayWolf shifters, hot alphas, strong heroine, romance, suspense and some heat. All the things I enjoy in a paranormal romance. This book was well-written and held my interest all the way through. I would definitely read more books in this series. I cant wait to see what happens when the other pack members meet their mates. Overall great read.

> 3 dayI received a free copy of this book for my honest review. There are no spoilers in this review. I love this series! Normally, I am not a fan of paranormal stories. However, they way the author has integrated the shape shifter genre into a real plot line is great. Its so fast moving that I had a hard time putting the book down. The characters so endearing or detestable that I felt myself getting angry at parts and yelling at some of the characters (in my head of course, I wouldnt want to seem crazy) to avoid something or go in a certain direction. I am also a fan because all of the books are stand-alone novels. While it helps to read them in order because some of the characters are repeated as well as some of the pack rules that are explained, it is not necessary. Each book is a story unto itself. It is really only the area, Wild Lake and the family that lives there that is a constant throughout each story. This is definitely a dont skip series. Each one gets better and better. I cant wait to read the next one!
