> 3 dayThis is Bass story he is trying to protect Wild Lake Wolf territory from greedy politicians He knows they will do anything to try and take the land but he underestimated how treacherous they would become. This book does not disappoint just like the others in this series. Ms. White keeps the tension between the factions at a fevered pitch. You are introduced to three new characters in this book but only one is a wolf and I cant wait until his story is done. The Wild Lake Wolves Series has a new book to add to it collection of great reads. Job well done Ms. White

> 3 dayThe book is good but the author needs to dial down the sex a bit. I prefer more story and less sex. It makes for a far better read. But the book is good and I do recommend it. - - Gifted ARC copy - - L

Greater than one weekEnjoyed this book. Bas and Abby have an immediate connection when they first meet but it takes awhile for Abby to really accept it. The descriptions of the setting are described very well. I enjoyed all the secondary characters also. There is the really evil person and all the unrest he causes. I would have liked Abby to tell Bas sooner about what was going on in the Congressmans office. I lliked how one of Abbys teachers got the tables turned on him when the teacher was trying to oust Abby from law school. I will continue reading books by this author.

> 3 dayAbbey and Bas took the hot factor up so high that it might just be the best Ive read in a long time. We meet Abbey, a young girl starting a internship at a popular congressman s office. She is aware that she is there because of some strange circumstances, but she is grateful and plan to work hard for the opportunity. Her personal life is not ideal, her mother has a drinking problem combined with a long string of men in and out of her life. They live on the wrong side of town, in a trailer park. Abbey plan is to get her law degree and leave that life behind. Bas is the Alpha of his pack of were wolves. Both of their lives change when he comes to the congressmans office for a heated meeting. She has already noticed that the person, Dale, who interviewed her for the job is a were. She didnt get a good feeling from him. When Bas came into the office, something drew her to him instantly. She didnt know enough, but was sure Dale also knew. Both, Abbey and Bas tried to down play the attraction. He was there because of traps that had been set on his territory. He was trying to stop the congressman from passing legislation that would take away the land his pack lived on. None of them could have seen what was about to happen. Kimber White has written a great story that has raw lust, hot sex, danger, intrigue, mystery, a love story for the ages. We see evil and greed try to destroy evetyone for selfish reasons. Can Abbey and Bas survive? I received this ARC copy with the promise of a honest review. This 3rd book of the series is a must read. The characters are so strong, you will want to read the entire series. I will be waiting for the next release.
