This is a fantastic leash. The padding is comfortable, but not in the way so much so you cant get a good grip. I love the close handle, we have a large dog who is learning not to pull, so its really nice to be able to grab that when other dogs/people, etc. approach. Gives you a nice, good grip on them. Would definitely buy this again and recommend to others.

I love this leash! It feels very sturdy in my hand. I have a 20 mo old, 60+ lb lab mix that is very strong and is very excited to meet new people and dogs on our walks. The typical leash was good, but when I needed to pull her close to me I had to wrap the leash around my hand, and after her repeated pulling on the old leash I knew we had to find something different. With this leash, I feel like I have better control over our walks and our meet and greets along the way as we continue to hone our leash walking skills. I would definitely purchase from Primal Pet Gear in the future. UPDATE 7/2021....Still using and loving this leash. I really like the padding in the handles!

The double hand holds are really handy on this leash with one for close and the longer for letting your dog have some freedom. The inner lining of the handhold is great. Best leash Ive purchased.

It’s very durable but almost too thick and heavy for a puppy

Leash seemed like good quality but completely ripped down the seem. My dog pulls because he’s a bird dog and prey driven, he’s 75 lbs and I can muscle him. Have to question the quality and the fact that it’s a 30 day refund period. I alternate among 3 so it was really only used a few time. His daily is black and this orange leash was purchased as hunter safety orange.

I have a Border Collie who wants to chase cars, joggers & bikes. This leash makes it so easy to control her when she’s over excited. I put a knot 1/2 way between the two handles for an extra place to grab. She turns around and bites her leash when she’s frustrated. This leash is sturdy enough to withstand some chewing, unlike most others.

It got dirty immediately but other than that its a nice price for the leash-- just dont plan on being able to get grass stains or mud out of it.

I have a 70 lb pit who gets excited to go on walks. This leash keeps me from hurting my hand holding on to the leash. My one complaint is I wish the second handle closest to the dog was about an inch higher for an easier hold.

I love this leash! Im a dog walker and got tired of my clients bad leashes, and my own dogs leash wasnt great either. My girl doesnt need the second handle, but I get some dogs that do need it. Its spaced well, but you can see in the picture that grabbing the top of the bottom handle would actually be too far away for a collar that leaves extra inches like my version of the prong collar or a martingale collar. The handles are big though and I am short so I dont think it would be an actual issue, and that is just for specific types of collars. The leash feels great to hold and the padding is nice. That was important to me because my hands get torn up by rope and poor quality leashes. Its actually reflective so thats a plus! It seems sturdy, but I havent had it long. Ill update if it breaks anytime soon!

Excellent leash for the money. Durable, easy to grip with the dual grip loops, the D-ring at the end grip is handy, and it feels solid. I have a 50lb German Shepherd mix and this leash works great for her. I might even get a second one. :)
