> 3 dayThis leash has so much to recommend it! It is well built and sturdy. I love, love, love the handle that is 1 foot from my dogs head and that gives me more control when Mary tries to lunge at people or other dogs. This helps so much with her training. The only thing is that I forget that the handle is there! The only issue that I have with this leash, and it is not a problem with the leash at all, is that I had thought that Marys old leash was one-inch in width but it was only about one-half to three-quarters inch width. She is a 20-lb Boston Terrier and this one-inch leash is almost too much leash for her! I feel like I should be walking a pit bull on this leash. It works well, however, with the new harness that the I bought her so well be using it a lot. 5 stars.

> 3 dayI love the feel of the cushioned handles on this leash!! The lower handle is perfectly placed for close in walking and control. The clip is super sturdy with a convenient small ring at the top for keys or poop bags. Would absolutely buy again. I didnt rate the durability as I just started using it and the leash itself is a bit thinner than previous leashes Ive had but it still seems very good quality.

> 3 dayI have three is these leashes now in addition to others. These are by far my favorite! The padded handle is so comfortable and I love the lower handle too for when I need to keep my dog close.

> 3 dayWe are using this to train our pup how to walk on a leash and stay with us. The short leash is perfect for training and then you can use the long leash once they’re doing better.

> 3 dayThis leash is GREAT! It’s super thick, even on just the flat black non padded nylon sections, so I know that it’s not going to just break or be easily chewed through. The stitching is reflective which is nice if your walking at night, but you would still need a bit more of an indicator for cars, but still a nice touch! The padding is soft and comfortable, and the secondary traffic handle is great for more control! This is hands down the best leash I’ve owned

> 3 dayBest duo-handle dog leash I’ve ever bought. And I’ve tried several. This is so comfortable to hold. The handles are in the correct spot. (some double handled leashes have the handles in inconvenient spots). And there’s foam padding on the underside of the handles which makes it very comfortable.

> 3 dayI ordered an orange one and I really liked the look of it but decided after our first walk that it won’t work for us. The material is very smooth so there is not much traction if you need to make a quick adjustment. I am used to a cloth leash and it is easy to grab a hold of any section quickly if I need to pull my dog closer for any reason. After trying this type, I decided cloth or mostly cloth is my preference over nylon. Along those same lines, while both handles are pretty comfortable, there is no variance in material between the leash section and the handles so you pretty much have to look to see what you have a hold of. Maybe something I could get used to but I feel like a different material on the handle would be an improvement. I thought I would keep it as a spare and get something more practical for every day but then, we were almost home from out walk and it started to rain, my dog shook to get raindrops off of him and somehow his collar or neck depressed the button on the latch (didn’t break it) and it came right off. He kept walking and I was standing there holding the leash. So, I decided it is useless to me if my dog can accidentally take it off that easy. Maybe if your dog is very calm I could recommend this but it’s not reliable enough for my 80 lb sheperd.

> 3 dayThe overall leash is REALLY well made and quality materials for sure. The issue I have is that the length is way too long and creates too much leash for any real control. I like double handled leashes so I can more easily walk my dog at my side and not have her out in front of me pulling. The amount of leash from the clip to the first handle is too long and means I have to choke up on the leash, so the handle is useless at that point. Its also just too long in general and there wasnt an option for sizes when I ordered, so I would highly recommend a length option being added. The leash I received is between 7-8 ft long, so I have to fold it multiple times in order to hold it and keep my dog at my side. Planning to return product, just does not allow for a controlled walk.

> 3 dayI found out about this leash from my mother in law who has 2 for each of her dogs. I walked one of her dogs once and I thought it felt so much nicer to hold than the plain old leashes out there (which I had at the time). I decided to finally order one since my 10 month old dalmatian puppy pulls all the time. That way I can hold onto the shorter handle to keep her closer to me when walking. It definitely made it easier. She still pulled, but I felt like I had more control. I hope eventually she will get better at not pulling as often. Ive only used this leash a few times, so I cant speak for how well one would hold up for a long period of time, but so far it is sturdy and doesnt feel cheap. BUT the price is reasonable. Worth the buy.
