Pros: Padded handles are probably the most comfortable on a leash that Ive tried thus far. The shortened handle is in the perfect spot. The D ring up top is handy to clip poop bags onto. Cons: 6ft is a little long for me personally, but I knew that spec when I bought it. The caribiner clasp feels a bit dodgy to me (maybe just not quite as strong as some others Ive tried) but so far everythings holding up well. Ill update if that changes.

Double handles, a ring to tie on your bags, very sturdy

This is our favorite leash so we buy them as gifts now! The small handle is great for when we pass another dog or want our pup close to us. We have two strong pits and havent had any issues with this leash! Weve had it now for at least two years and are so happy with this purchase! We just wish they made these in a y leash

I love the idea of two handles. My puppy adjusted well to the leash. It was great for better part of the year. Recently the traffic handle started to get lose and right now it hangs there on few remaining stiches. My puppy is not real puller and he doesnt have access to the leash except when he is on it. Yes, we used it few times a day but I would expect it to last at least a year. Well, part of it that made me buy it did not. Hence less stars...

Been using this leash since our dog was 4 months old. purchased 3 in the past 3 years. BEST leash!! actually trained my dog to ride next to me on a bicycle w/ this leash . Works so well for training i dont even need the leash. only to please the neighbors.

This is the third Primal Pet Gear dog leash Ive owned! I still love it! (I dont get new ones because the old ones break, I just manage to lose a lot of leashes...) The Velcro part for the short leash handle is brilliant! I used to have a bigger dog where it wouldnt be a problem that the handle dangled, but now that I have a shorter dog its extremely convenient that the handle doesnt scrape against the ground. The padded handles are also really nice! Just makes it that much more comfortable to walk your dog.

I love this leash; double handles give you extra safety when going on trails or out in town where you might encounter lots of people and dogs. It has an extra D ring to clip your poop bags, a carabiner or an extra accessory and it is SOFT! Handles are very easy to grip and comfortable; leash is thick, well made, durable. Other than our custom made competition leather leashes, this is probably the best leash weve used.

I absolutely love this leash. I use it daily with my German Shepard it is so easy to hold & then grab the other shorter handle when needed.

I’ve only had it a couple days but am so pleased with this purchase. The clip seems strong and durable; the padding is perfect and so much more comfortable than the knots in our old leash; the 2nd/lower handle is in the perfect place for more control with my large Pyr; and the end loop is great for giving her a bit more freedom for sniffing. Also love the purple color. So far so good with this leash. (Beware though the poop bag holder that theoretically “matches” the purple leash. The purple bag holder is actually more of a fuchsia and is not the same color as the leash.)
