> 3 dayI know there are keyboard enthusiasts out there, but this particular keyboard is a steal! For starters, right out the box, the keyboard has decent weight, so it wont scurry around your desk. The quality of the product is pretty decent and well put together. Depending on the key switches you have, it honestly is so satisfying to type on. The RGB is VERY bright and customizable. Whats there not to like for a budget keyboard?

> 3 dayIve been watching the razer huntsman mini keyboard but havent wanted to spend the premium cost. I stumbled on this deal for $20 and am extremely happy with it so far. The body is made from sturdy plastic and lights up nicely. Currently using as my travel keyboard. In hindsight I would have gotten the blue optical option because I like the tactile clicky feel of the blue better.

> 3 day***This is my first mechanical keyboard*** and I love it. Of course, I may just be in love with the blue switches. The keyboard works perfectly fine. After 48 hours of use my only gripes are that since Im using this on my Mac I cant download the software to edit the keyboard easily. Initially I was a little bummed about that because I wasnt a big fan of the lights, but they arent distracting when Im using it and its a bit nifty that itll highlight the keys with alternate functions when you hit the fn key. The other gripe is something Im not sure whether is an issue stemming from my inability to easily customize the keys or whether this is a problem throughout. Ive found when attempting to use the arrow keys for YouTube controls, scrolling through in-game chats, other various non-traditional menus I cant seem to get them to work properly. Beyond the arrow keys bug and the lack of Mac software, I havent found any issues with the product. P.S. If youre concerned about the size of it, it doesnt take very long to adjust to it if youve ever used the apple keyboard without and numpad.

> 3 dayIts a keyboard that will get you by. Typing experience is pretty mediocre, switches rattle in the plate and sound scratchy, keycaps sound loose and shake a lot. Typing sound profile is loud, clackety even though these arent clicky switches, and the case makes it sound very hollow (it would help if you took it apart and put some foam in there to dampen the noise). Stabilizers on the shift, back, space keys are terrible. Just to clarify these arent Gateron optical switches. I got the brown switches and theyre just linears, which are usually tactiles, I would assume all the switches are the same and they just change the color of the stems. Some good things: the cable was better than I expected, as well as the switch puller and keycap remover that came with it. Props to them. The software, surprisingly, isnt just GK61 bloatware, it actually works pretty nice and looks clean. I wouldnt recommend this to anyone, in fact if someone came to me with this saying they just bought it I would make them return it and tell them to save more to build their own. In all honesty, the only reason I bought this keyboard was because Im getting it fully refunded just to leave a review, after I get the refund from the company, Im going to return this piece of garbage to Amazon and make a cool $35 on it and buy a cheap set of keycaps. Just save a little more and get an MX-style GK61, or another 40% or 60%. I cannot stress enough how cheaply this is made. Case sounds completely hollow when typing, switches dont sit tight in the plate and rattle around when you type, Keycaps arent straight still have machining marks around the bottoms/the bottom edges are warped on the longer keys. The stems are extremely loose inside the switch housing, theyre optical switches (yes I knew before I received it) so you have no room to upgrade or swap (because nobody makes them). This is unsalvageable as something to upgrade, and unless this is your endgame keeb (hint: it isnt) youll have to get a completely different keyboard to upgrade your experience anyway.

> 3 dayI bought this keyboard for my son to use while he’s doing programming classes on my computer. I’ve got one of those fancy split ergo mechanical keyboards with 4 layers and all the bells and whistles but my son doesn’t use it very often so I saw him struggling a little. This keyboard is much more like the ones he’s used to with our chrome books he normally uses. Great little keyboard. I find the keys are a little tightly packed together so bigger hands may struggle. But if you need a travel keyboard and you want something compact this might just be perfect for you.

> 3 dayIf youre a keeb ~purist~, why are you even here? This is a great keyboard for folks who want to enjoy the feel of a mechanical keyboard (with brown switches, thats what I got), without shelling out for a more expensive showpiece of a keeb thats mostly just for... observation. I will say that the 60% is a little bit small for what I need it for, but Im still going to keep it. The keycaps that it comes with are a little boring so I got new ones and replaced them when I got the keyboard. CLICKS: brown switches are a nice medium between red and blue. I like them because theyre quiet enough for me as a writer, but satisfying enough that I feel like Im actually being productive. The arrow keys need to be activated in order to be used, and if you want to use some other keys you have to map them correctly using your system settings or programming software (for example, you can change the windows key to be the command key if youre using this keyboard with a mac). TYPING: is satisfying. NEW KEYCAPS: The keycaps are easy to remove and put new ones on. The keycap set that I got, everything fit, but ymmv — if your keycaps dont fit, double check? DURABILITY: Its doing fine. Im not sure why folks are saying that theirs died so quickly — are you banging on it with a hammer or do you have tiny hammers on each of your fingers that youre hitting the keyboard with? As long as you dont act like the keyboard has offended you somehow, itll last fine. LIGHTS: Listen, if you didnt want the pretty LED lights, why did you get the pretty LED-backlit keyboard? Knocking off a star because the keyboard that YOU purchased has all the features you KNEW were available because its IN THE DESCRIPTION is just asinine. Thats human error, not the manufacturers fault. Literally everything you need to know is either in the description or in reviews. Also, youre not cooler than anyone else if you dont want a keyboard with rainbow lights or think theyre corny. I dont get this logic at all — so gamer keyboards have pretty backlights. Okay, and? Sorry that youre boring and dont want any excitement in your life. Go and get a boring keyboard off of Drop or something and pay out the butt for something boring. This is not shade at Drop, whom I love. This is shade at all the buyers that are like iM sO TiReD oF tHe rAiNbOw LeD LiGhTs oN kEyBoArDs iTs sO oVeRrAtEd — ok, so dont buy one and then complain about the rainbow lights. Yeesh. Anyway, now that thats been said, the lights are cool. I like the rainbow lights. There are several different modes that can be activated and theyre pretty fun to watch. I tend to leave the more active ones (oscillation, rainbow surge, all the ones that make the keyboard STAY on with the lit LEDs) on only if Im streaming and want it for the aesthetic. Sometimes I keep the one where each key fades softly in and out at different intervals and in different colors on because its just prettier that way. But otherwise, if Im working, I set the keyboard to one of the light modes that lights up keys briefly as theyre pressed. CONNECTION: Its wired — USB C on the keyboard and USB A on the other end. You may need an adapter to connect it to you computer, especially if you have a newer laptop like a macbook that only takes USB-C. again. In the picture you can see a poorly coiled cable — I did that, so dont think that it comes with a coiled cable. IN CONCLUSION: - if youre an eLiTiSt about keyboards, maybe... dont buy this keyboard and then get crabby when it doesnt live up to your elitist expectations? - lights are pretty, not necessarily useful, but pretty! - keycaps are easy to remove and replace - USB-C out, USB-A in, buy an adapter if you need to and dont throw a fit - great beginner keeb

24-04-2025I picked this up on a sale for just under 30 dollars, and it can not be beat. I dont care for linear switches so i was disappointed when i found out these were not the tactile brown switches, but actually love the keyboard quality so much Ive come around to being okay with them
