> 3 dayFirst and foremost this review is based on the fact that this is indeed a 60% keyboard and anyone reading this review should keep in mind that it does not have a 10 key pad. Anyways moving on. The keyboard itself is quite nice, the keys are responsive and pro ide sticking tactile feedback and overall pleasant feel to it while its in use. The RGB lighting in the keyboard are controlled by the firmware within the keyboard itself and can be changed by a few keypresses. Me having a white build I elected for the white rgb setting in a breathing pattern. This keyboard would be perfect for any gamer not looking to break the bank and still have a responsive keyboard with a little flair mixed in. Especially one on the go, I wS using this keyboard to replace my existing board but it managed to find it permanently attached to my raspberry pi instead for the sheer portability of it. Highly recommend if you are looking for a portable gaming keyboard and dont require use of th q0 key number pad.

Greater than one weekIn my 6 years of using Amazon I have never left a review . I don’t like buying “cheap” alternatives . But this keyboard right here is an absolute gem !! Could not recommend anymore . Nice sturdy keyboard. Sounds amazing with the black switches. I consider this an upgrade from black widow v2 by razor lol. 10/10!!!

> 3 dayLike the headline says, it could be a great keyboard. For what I paid, at $32 itd be a steal. Except not every key is tied properly to what its supposed to! For example, and this is important, I cant use the question mark! Oh no, it sends me back up a line when I try to. And if I shift click it, it highlights everything. You can see where this is going... If you bought this purely for WASD gaming, great. If you actually bought it to function as a keyboard, some of these keys are incorrectly coded on the motherboard. I really liked the feel and tactile response. I also liked the RGB. But I just cant for the life of me justifying holding onto a keyboard with keys that are incorrectly coded. I really wanted to like this keyboard. In fact, I really do like it for this price point. Its not made of the best materials, but for an budget RGB keyboard, this really had my hopes up. Its not terribly loud compared to the blue switches Im used to which was great. But once I tried to use the keyboard for writing a paper I realized that some of these keys werent properly coded to their designated keys. Yikes! In conclusion, test every key on this keyboard including the FN keys when you buy it. Perhaps its a one-off and quality control missed my keyboard. Either way, this is a return for me at this point.

> 3 dayAfter spending a couple of days using this keyboard (I got the blue optical switches), I feel comfortable writing a review on this. I was given incentive to write a good review, just to be transparent with anyone looking to buy, and I intend to be completely honest. Luckily, I am able to give an honest good review for this keyboard. Pros: - The keyboard itself is sturdy! It has a solid heft out of the box and has a clean aesthetic - no obnoxious branding, just the punkston label on the bottom side. The case is plastic but it feels good, especially for the price. - The keycaps have a very clean aesthetic - no gamer font thankfully! Although they do feel a little thin (Im assuming theyre ABS keycaps), for the price they are totally fine. Clean font, the RGB shine through is consistent throughout the keys, no complaints. - The RGB is beautiful. I didnt really notice RGB until I got a keyboard that had very bland, bleak lighting. THIS keyboards RGB is very beautiful, and it shines wonderfully. The different patterns and settings that come in-built with the keyboard are nice as well, and they are individually customizable through the downloadable application. - The hotswappability worked without a hitch. I was a little worried that wed only be able to use other Punkston switches, but I bought some Gateron Optical Yellows and swapped it in without a hitch! So if anyone was worried about that , I tested it out immediately. Now that said, it doesnt (and isnt supposed to) take anything but other optical switches. The switches were easy to get out of the hot socket and it was easy to replace them! - Software is very user-friendly for the most part. There is one con Ill outline shortly. But its easy to set macros and edit RGB software. - The stabilizers are for the most part good. Theyre not the most satisfying sounding, but they do not clack or rattle in an obnoxious way. - The included keycap puller and switch puller are nice! better than the generic ones that usually come with cheaper keyboards. Cons: - One thing that I noticed briefly with the software is that when the software is open, I cannot use the hotkeys on the keyboard to change the different RGB settings, which was a little annoying. - My biggest gripe with this keyboard are the switches. They are optical blue switches by Punkston, and while they do their job and are fairly smooth, they are quite wobbly. I can tell by just resting my finger on the keycap and moving it around without pressing down on them that the stem is a loose in the housing. This was further emphasized when I took a switch out and did the same thing just to confirm. - With optical hotswap, your only options are for other optical switches, which is a very limited selection. All things considered, I got this keyboard on sale for a little under $30, and I genuinely think that this is a steal at that price point and a great place for someone wanting to try out a mechanical keyboard. The keyboard has a clean aesthetic, feels sturdy despite being mainly plastic, you have the ability to customize keycaps, even customize switches (with other opticals), and work with lighting effects and macro functions in a software that is user-friendly. Now all of that said, at full price (~$60), you begin to be able to consider other options, but I think on sale its a steal, and at full price its still definitely worth considering. If you were considering other optical switches to try out, look at gateron optical switches or kailh box optical switches!

Greater than one weekThis keyboard is awesome and has so much potential thus the reason I am giving 4 stars. The Software used for programming and the function keys need a bit more work to iron out. As for the software it is not very intuitive or user friendly to sat the least. Takes a bit of messing around with it to learn how to make it do what you want. As for the function keys the only real problem i found with these is that the arrow keys do not work as expected. i managed to get them to work like they should by reprograming /? key to caps lock since i have no real use for caps lock. Once i did this i mess with some stuff and have no idea what i did but the arrow keys started working as i wanted them to so i said cool and left it as it was. Since then it has been awesome and i use it more now than my G910 as i puchased this keyboard to use in my reclining gaming chair with a Azeron game pad and MMO mouse. i could not be more happy with it now that it works how i want and i highly recommend. I will be more than willing to work with Punkston on their software UI if they would like to reach out to me. All and all love it has be come part of my everyday use at my pc.

> 3 dayI was looking for a budget friendly mechanical keyboard. This is just that. The key caps are not bad but I was planning to upgrade them and the switches to something that I wanted. The price is the best for an optical switch mechanical keyboard. I like how it comes with a decent keycap and switch puller. The switches I chose were the red switches and performance was good. I may upgrade them to gateron optical brown switches. I like the braided usb cable and response is really good. The main structure of the keyboard is built well and no reasons why it would not last long. The RGB lighting options are good and very surprised with the price of this keyboard given what it includes. If you are looking for very economical keyboard and dont want to spend more than $50 this is the keyboard to get. If you like upgrading your mechanical keyboards this is just right. The switches I are not bad but would recommend to upgrade them and get PBT key caps. Stabilizers are not bad and dont provide a lot of rattle. They seem like they were lubed but I am no expert in mechanical keyboards. Overall the value, quality and product is just right for the price.
