> 24 hourI was excited to receive my Python Hook, and disappointed to learn its only value is refilling. I was hoping to hang the hook on the side of the aquarium and effortlessly drain the water from my tank. What a surprise when I learned the hook has to be attached at the long end, the one you would think would go in the water, as opposed to the small end which would only draw a few inches from the tank. So, I decided to just stick the hose in the short end and put the long end in the water and see what happened. Well it did drain the water, but it was slower than normal, and when it came to refilling as much water went out of the tube onto the carpet as went into the drain, primarily because I had it improperly attached as I thought it had a dual purpose of both water removal and refill. The former is limited in use and I am astonished that the Python folks didnt think to make the shorter hook end as long, at least as the attaching end. In this way the aquarist could both drain and refill their tanks effortlessly.

> 24 hourGreat product- I waited far to long to buy one of these for refilling my fish tanks. Kind of pricey for a u-shaped piece of plastic, but it works well & is very sturdy. Would have got a five star if it had a hose connection on both ends; would be really nice for draining tanks instead of just filling tanks if it did.
