The bottom line is this thing leaks no matter what you do, maybe I got a dud but Im not willing to take another chance, water all over the floor by the time I finished the water change, they need to fix the fitting or the machining

I can finally put water in the aquarium with peace of mind that the tube wont flip out.

Does exactly what its intended to do. No drip no spill. Very sturdy. However, the main unit has a serious leakage issues that should be redesigned by the manufacturer.

I had the python vac for years and cleaned/refilled with the gravel tube the whole time. It took a certain way to not make water mess on wood floor by balancing the hose weight and leveraging the tube under the lid with some weight on it since my sink was far. There have been times the tube misdirected water onto the top or fell off of top and flowed on floor. Got to where I needed to buy more hose length and found this hook, well let me say they should include this with the vacuum kit is is so good. Shame on python for not including this with every kit because I didn’t even know it existed at the time I bought the thing years ago and it adds so much value to the main kit. The python vacuum kit is going strong for at least a decade now.

Easy to use, helpful when filling the aquarium.

A major time and stress saver. Now I dont have to run to make sure I get to the tank before the water in the vacuum beats me.
