I received several wonderful pieces of clean, smooth slate in beautiful condition! I used this slate to create small caves in my 125 gallon fish tank and its absolutely beautiful.

This attachment is easy to figure out. You just remove the end of the python hose and screw this in instead. It works the same way- with the lever that shuts water flow on/off. However, just note that if you have a thicker lipped aquarium (like I do because I have an acrylic aquarium) the attachment will probably still hook on but instead of water coming straight down it will be at an angle (which for me is fine, it still provides hands free filling).
