this is great and it hooks and stays so you dont have to hold it

I have has the Python siphon since almost when they first came out years ago and thought that this new addition would be useless. I was wrong, it makes refiling a tank so much easier as the python nozzle doesnt wind up coming out of the tank since this just hooks on the edge of the tank. I have to say I am very happy with the product. Not sure why it rates the suction power as this is used to refill a fish tank.

Its feels like solid construction and hangs on as instructed. I used it to initially fill my 65 gallon, but because of the chlorinated water, I have not used it to directly fill my tank after water changes. Instead I use a 20 gal tub and add my conditioner to it. Still I am glad I purchased this as I am not worried about the hose coming out a spreading water everywhere

Why does this not come with the Python aquarium set up? Purchased the cleaning hose set up and without this, it is awkward and difficult using the drain tube to fill! The whole Python set up cost $35.00, then the 10 extension hose $10.00, now another $19.00 for this device? It is very heavy duty but believe this is over-engineered, and is overpriced.

They should of added a loop at the end so you dont have to place anything under it to keep from displacing your substrate. I added a section of hose and got it to work how it should of been made to begin with. Modification can be done easily, overpriced for what it is. cheaper to buy pvc and make it right.
