The stud is shorter than in the picture, basically 1/4 of thread not 3/4 as shown, had to drill and tap a hole instead of using a nut as planned

First let me say I am a Ram mount fan and own a lot of them. I use them in my boat, motorcycle, Jeep and side by side. I ordered 2 b size balls with 1/4 -20 threads and both came with the threaded end not concentric with the ball.........Quality control is slipping lately.

I tried to buy one with a longer bolt. The picture led me to believe it was a 1/2 in length. It was only a quarter inch in length.

I love everything RAM . I was skeptical about other rave reviews until I bought the product . These are way over engineered like military spec. I dont hesitate to pay extra to get these . They absolutely get the job done . I have several RAM products.

Threads not long enough for anything but tin foil. I threw them in the garbage. Give me a half inch of threads next time

Good equipment

Not much to say because theyre just simple 1/4-20 ball mount. Feels solid and the rubberized coating helps keep the arm in position once without needing to over torqueing.
