> 3 dayOk so I have had this keyboard before. Maybe like 2 years ago. but sadly I lost it. 3 months ago when I moved. I bought this keyboard again this week. This time around I got it used to save some money. I got the same switches as well(razer yellow). So I know exactly how bad the space bar and every other key with stabilizers sounded. And also overall how much pinging sound every other key in general would make when typing( used o-rings previously when I had it to help with that) . And this one I got this time around(used) has been modded 100%. Forsure from what I can see all stabilizers have been tightened and lubed very well. The spacebar sounds so good! And in general the keyboard sounds pretty thocky. No what else if anything else was done to it. Like adding some sort of padding/foam to the board. Not sure but it sounds and feels so good. So whoever upgraded this board. I thank you (:

> 3 dayEDIT: Have been using this keyboard for almost 2 years now & used it extensively in Pandemic producitivty times of the tech industry(heavy typing) Initially I had problems with repeating keys. But I dont have that issue anymore. I dont know if I adopted in typing or the keyboard had a breakeven period. Eitherways, a very good keyboard at this price point. Yellow switches are really good. I have been using mechanical keyboards for years(esp red & blue switches) This is my first linear activation switch keyboard. So I will write my review (from last 4 hours of usage) into two parts: a) Keyboard: It is aesthetically built(along with reliable software) The key & keyboard quality is very high grade. The wrist support is also very comfortable. The RGB is highly customizable, but I havent explored much on it(I have a deathadder mouse and just duplicated its settings into keyboard as starting point) b) Yellow switches: It is kind of hit & miss. As I told I have used red & blue switch extensively and my typing is very accustomed to it. I am seeing character repetitions with yellow switch. It is because of the nature of this switch or the timing(displacement distance for registering the key stroke) I hope I wont be typing too many errors into my coding etc(as some things like ii can be caught by a compiler than eye during intensive coding/debugging sessions) I would recommend this keyboard is you are looking for something portable, beautiful and more over fancy gaming keyboard.

Greater than one weekI play many different games and its works well with most of them. But recently Ive been playing a rhythm game called Friday Night Funkin. When I go to hold down the notes, for less than a fraction of a second the keys stop registering which causes me to get a miss in the game and it almost makes it impossible for me to play. If you do not care about rhythm games, I would highly recommend this as it works well with everything else.

> 3 dayI upgraded frm to 2014 Blackwidow so comparing the construction quality is still great. Plastic is the main frame of the keyboard, the color and the texture changed in the V2 and also the legend of the keycaps. The switches I choose this time were the yellow linear since they were the lightest. They feel smooth to press. The only one that has like a scratchy feeling is the space bar when hitting it from the edges, that doesnt bother me since I use my thumb in the center to press it. Overall a great upgrade for me, its the same keyboard layout that Im use to just with RGB and better switches. I havent used the wrist rest, I find it not necessary since the default inclination is good. If you are in the market for a mechanical keyboard and you want RGB do not fear the Razer brand, its a really good product and the keycaps are durable.

> 3 dayIve used this keyboard for 3 years. It was great until the last couple months, I started getting key repeating issues, press q and I get qqq same thing on multiple keys (m,g,=,7, etc). Internet says this is just dust in my keys, so I blew them out with canned air over and over, no luck. Razer support said theyd replace my keyboard, great! Nope, its past the 2-year warranty, so they took back their word on the replacement. Ridiculous considering how much they tout their 80 Million Keystroke Lifespan and long-lasting switches on a keyboard equipped to handle years and years of constant gaming. Dont trust their marketing, trust their 2-year warranty. Besides that, the keyboard is pretty good. I wish the fn key had RGB, so weird that it doesnt, and Razers software isnt too bad, but still not great. The worst part is the keyboard doesnt remember the light setting, so when you use it on a PC without the Razer Synapse software installed, it just color cycles. This wouldnt matter except Im using it for work now and dont want to install Razer software on my work PC. I have a cheap $40 keyboard that has a couple dozen built in lighting modes and color sets without any software. One of the best parts of this keyboard is the wrist rest, its still holding up great. Its so hard to find a rest made for TKL size keyboards. The other wrist rest I have from Redragon isnt nearly as good. Update on my key issues, I sprayeda drop of WD40 into the keys with issues and the problem went away over time. Could have been a firmware update too, not sure.

> 3 dayLove this keyboard. This is the 4th mechanical keyboard I have in 10 years. Used 12 hours a day for programming, writing, and gaming. Bright, even, pleasant neutral-white backlighting is crisp and even, great to not have to deal with blinking and pulsing RGB toys. Keys are pleasant and clicky, with great feedback. Removable USB cable is great for switching between computers, and for transport. Easily removable yet durable keycaps make it easy to clean, too. Lack of a numpad is great for those of us who dont use it, the space saving is surprisingly significant, the keyboard no longer dominates desk space. The only potential con is, the bottom half of the keycaps is not backlit (ie the 4 glows, the $ does not). However, in my experience this isnt an issue. Though as a software dev I touch-type the symbol keys, obviously I cant touch-type the keyboard-specific volume, multimedia, and brightness keys - and yet, the glow of the monitor is enough to make them usable even at night. If you are visually impaired, or otherwise need to be able to clearly see the symbol keys, this may be significant for you, but only if you plan on using this keyboard in total darkness. If youre like me and wont be hampered by this, go for it! You wont regret it.

> 3 daygreat keyboard would like a linear option but otherwise the keyboard is looks good, sound quiet and feels good. The Blackwidow Lite comes with little rubber rings that can be used to make the keyboard quieter but doesnt seem to make the keys mushy. Overall it is a great product!

Greater than one weekThis is my first mechanical keyboard purchase after it came highly recommended from a friend who has the Razer Ultimate. I have used mechanical keyboards 20 years ago when I first got introduced to computers and the clicky sound of the keys was intriguing; and over the period of time silent keyboards took over my life and became a norm. I think this is a very well made keyboard and the keys are back-lit and responsive. I primarily use it for office work and occasional gaming. I type fast and some of the keyboards I have used in the past have a bouncy feel to them while some others have keys that have resistance built-in them; but this keyboard is not like that; the keys press so easily and retract back very quickly offering good tactile feedback...you type and you are ready for the next press allowing you to type so fast and accurately. The spacing of the keys is good too and the crunchy & clicky sound is like a rhythm for my mind and the ears wanting me to type more. This is Razers compact keyboard version and does not have a number pad; so not ideal for number crunchers. Dimensions of the keyboard is 14 x 5 x 0.5 inch (355 x 127 x 12.7 mm) and comes with a braided detachable cable. This is suppose to be a tactile & silent keyboard but in reality they are not quiet; they have that clicky sound to them which I desired most. However, it comes with orange colored sound dampeners (called O-rings) in the box which need to be put around the keys to keep them silent; I have not done that though. Overall, a great compact keyboard for a super fast typing experience if you can live without the number pad.

Greater than one weekWhen I tell you this Keyboard is the best ive ever owned (or used for that matter) I make no exaggeration :D the lights arent overpowering, keys feel and sound great to the tap, only feedback would be to get a wrist cushion as the keys are quite tall and was odd to get used at the start. Have not used the muting elastics quite yet but would definitely purchase again in a heartbeat if the need arose!
