> 3 dayI rated base on my experience all my life been using generic non-mechanical keyboard, so base on my short experience using Razer BlackWidow Lite TKL Tenkeyless Mechanical Keyboard i find it really good and its quite an experience. I have read some reviews that sound of clicking is too loud, maybe, but i find it soothing.

> 3 dayThe only thing wrong is the cable is too long. My keyboard is six inches from the computer, but the cable is 8 feet long. good sturdy cable, is IN THE WAY. Is there any way I can get a shorter cable to connect the keyboard to the computer without filling all my workspace? The keyboard itself is the best I have ever had, and Ive been dealing with keyboards for 33 years, not counting typewriters.

> 3 dayYoure not going to get a better deal for a quality keyboard when this is 50% off, as it is now. The Razer software is very easy to use (I changed the pause break button to be a mute button instead, the page up to be a volume up, page down to be volume down. and scr lk to be a button to mute microphones) Ive seen a couple reviews say you have to log in to software for the keyboard settings to work every time you boot your computer. That is fake news. The orange switches are very comfortable to type on as well. I truly liked my K55 keyboard, but I couldnt go back to it after having this. Much better for both typing and gaming. If youre concerned about the lack of a number pad you can buy one for cheap on Amazon as well (theres a nice one with blue switches for $16 as of typing this), while still having a much smaller footprint on your desk than a full size keyboard. The wrist rest is also very comfortable as long as you have the back stands up to elevate the keyboard (thats just my preference though).

> 3 dayOverall, I enjoy the clickiness, the smaller form factor so it can fit on my desk and be transported with greater ease, and how the chassis is designed to be at a slant for a better typing experience. My previous keyboard had adjustable legs for putting the keyboard at an angle break, so this is a nice thing to see. My only nitpick would be after only a few weeks of use, the wrist rest is losing its pep. As you can see in the image because when gaming you usually dont rest your wrist anywhere but the are of the WASD keys, the cushion is flattening. Even after giving it time to reinflate, it doesnt return to a condition like the other areas of the cushion that are less used. I still wouldnt use the keyboard without it, as even though there is no cushion, it is still is nice to have something your wrists can rest on as you game or type, and the material feels nice too.

> 3 daySo, unlike a lot of other people on here, Im just going to say this keyboard is perfect for me so far. Yeah, if you get a defective product from ANYWHERE, you send it back and get a new one. When you buy electronics of any type you do have a risk of not receiving a flawless one, yes. Welcome to technology. Anyways, I got this keyboard with the orange switches and I love them. My last keyboard was a K65 LUX RGB which has a similar form factor and used Cherry MX Reds. These Razer Orange keys have a bump before theyre fully pressed down which gives a nice amount of feedback while typing or gaming. The sound is very.. tight and feels mostly contained within the keyboard itself. The version with orange switches is not even remotely loud compared to a lot of other switches, most of the noise is just the keys bottoming out above the faceplate (which I believe is also metal.) Very nice sound without being overbearing. Lighting? Perfect if the software works. I have a Lancehead mouse and I organized these on the virtual table on Chroma Studio to talk to each other and it works flawlessly with whatever color design or scheme you want. Doesnt feel like Ive ever missed any keys registering and the MAGNETIC wrist rest is absolutely incredible. If you have very, very big hands you may not be able to comfortably use it but I feel that goes for most keyboards. Probably shouldnt get a TKL in that case. Build feels nice, a little heavy, some plastic, some metal. Detachable cable is braided, and.. detachable. Quickly recognized and working after plugged in. I got this for $70 on sale which is an unbelievable deal and I probably should have bought more than one. I would not pay more than 100 or 120 at the most though.. at that point you might get into what COULD be slightly more premium things. Different market. If its around 100 get it. It puts letters on a screen.

> 3 dayThis is the first Razor keyboard that I have ever owned and let me start by saying that it is by far the best (keyboard) that I have ever owned. I was slightly skeptical at first just because I have always seen of myself as more of an membrane and thin laptop esq. keyboard kinda guy. I think that part of my skepticism was due to the less than good keyboards that were in every computer lab, in every school.I could not have been more incorrect. Absolutely everything from the responsiveness & sound of the keys, to the removable & extremely comfy wrist rest, and the customization (of which I have lost countless hours playing with), is AMAZING! I literally cannot think of a single disappointing thing about this keyboard. It would be nice if for future iterations to add a couple things, such as wireless capabilities (wishful thinking, and is understandable why its not) and an extra USB port on the keyboard itself (something which the larger models already have). Those arent even complaints, just wishes that would make an already outstanding keyboard that much better. Also, just make sure that you (and others within earshot of your keyboard) are ready to make the commitment to loud clicky keys. Personally I love the sound the keys make and dont think that I could ever go back to something more quiet. My girlfriend however, does not feel the same, and finds them rather loud/annoying when she is in the same room as me.

> 3 dayIve been using this keyboard for a while now, and its definitely not bad. I have the Orange switches, which keeps the clicking sound to a minimum and feels really good when using for gaming and typing. However, this keyboard has a number of issues that are not present in cheaper keyboards from other manufacturers. First, there is no onboard memory, which is inexcusable. When a GB of flash memory can be bought for $5, theres no excuse to not include memory on this keyboard. Since theres no memory, I am unable to store a color and lighting pattern profile. Unfortunately, since theres no onboard memory, we are forced to use Synapse to apply the color settings after Synapse loads with Windows. This means that any time Synapse isnt running, the keyboard will randomly pick a color and use that until the software can sync to the keyboard. Thats just pathetic. Another issue I have is with Synapse. I also use a Razer Orb Weaver, which is the only reason I even bought this keyboard (I wanted these two components to match). But, the Orb Weaver uses a DIFFERENT VERSION of Synapse, so I have to keep 2 separate versions of Razers software running at all times. This is just terrible, and reminds me I avoided Razer products for years. Also, it should be noted that there is another huge flaw with this keyboard: the lack of color shifting for Hypershift. The Function keys (F1-F12) serve two purposes, which is toggle by holding a button on the keyboard. However, the engineers are Razer werent smart enough to realize that those alternate icons of the F keys should probably light up! One would think that when you hold the hypershift key, the alternate icons on the Function keys would illuminate so you can actually see the function youre trying to access. There are printed icons on the Function keys, but they never illuminate. This is just inexcusable for a product at this price point and it tells you a lot about Razers design philosophy. They make decent products, but their competitors put a lot more thought the functionality of the things they make. But I must admit that the keyboard does work perfectly fine and I have had no issues yet. Razer quality has always been on the lower end, so I dont have high hopes for longevity, but I will use the keyboards eventual failure to get a Logitech replacement instead. Other things to note: the Caps Lock key does illuminate white when activated. That is a nice touch that should have carried over to the dual action Function keys. The magnetic wrist rest is a nice feature that feels good and works just fine. Ill keep it until it breaks but Ill replace it with something better.

> 3 dayI play many different games and its works well with most of them. But recently Ive been playing a rhythm game called Friday Night Funkin. When I go to hold down the notes, for less than a fraction of a second the keys stop registering which causes me to get a miss in the game and it almost makes it impossible for me to play. If you do not care about rhythm games, I would highly recommend this as it works well with everything else.

> 3 dayGood keyboard, still very loud. O-rings do not damper the noise very much, if at all. Plus, they are not installed, you have to pull off each key to install them manually for some reason. Biggest complaint is the connection is micro-USB. So, it will break after unplugging it twice. Also, the keys have the shift options below the normal options (usually they are above) so that is a weird irregularity that is very ugly.
