I personally got this keyboard in part because it has reduced- height keycaps 6 mm as opposed to the standard 10 mm. If you have been using reduced- height keycaps for years like I have there is no way you are going back to full height. I tried out a corsair k55 keyboard and honestly it felt a bit like I was on a type-writer....not comfortable for me at all, haha. This keyboard is overall comfortable, quiet and responsive with just a couple caveats. This is an excellent value proposition if you want an entry level RGB non-mechanical keyboard with reduced-height keycaps. Pros: -6 mm Keycaps and responsive to the touch- does not require too much force to press -Durable and light weight design overall -RGB lighting with adjustable brightness control and static (7) single color illumination setting. I dont use the changing color controls but they are definitely there for those who want those as well. -No software required to set up RGB or have hanging around in the background as a process or program -Having some multimedia buttons and the function key is a plus for music/using calculator/etc. Cons: -No multimedia volume control buttons. Function key + F2, F3, F4 to reduce/increase/mute sound It seems rather redundant to have F1, F5-F12 + Function key serve the same purpose as included multimedia buttons. Easily two of those buttons could go to volume control. I almost never use the search or refresh page multimedia buttons. -No height adjustment for the legs and the keyboard is overall bit bulky in size, not sure if i really need the palm rest. I took off the legs to reduce the tilt (pretty easy) and put something else underneath to prop it up just a bit. -Spacing between Keycaps is bit tighter than it needs to be. A bit more spacing would decrease the chance of erroneous key presses. -ABS plastic shows finger smudges rather quickly and exhibits surface wear more readily when compared to PBT keyboards. -RGB Illumination of many keys is not complete (ex: the center see-through line on the spacebar is just 1/3 illuminated. The hyper X alloy by comparison has superior key illumination but does not allow you to keep a static single color. -Slight bit of pushback resistance/jammy feel on key presses, repeated key presses (especially arrow keys) are a bit louder than you might expect Note: Despite being a relatively responsive keyboard on single key presses, this keyboard along with a number of newer membrane keyboards out there on the market have a small delay built-in for repeat key presses, even after changing windows settings. This will in most cases only be noticeable for games that require a lot of repeat key mashing combos that require particular timings. A simple test for this issue can be done by playing LF2 (Little Fighter 2)

Working in an IT industry, I am no stranger to the unforgettable My wireless keyboard wont work and my smug response of have you changed the batteries? Knowing how often I get asked that question, I knew I needed a keyboard that I could recharge. This keyboard is perfect. Between the lights and the battery life, this keyboard (and the matching mouse) are both comfortable and perfect for my position. I have had this keyboard for about a year and the battery still lasts for about 2 weeks.

I got this keyboard because I was looking for a cool colorful one, and a bit quieter. I am a fast, and loud typer I guess you can say for the office. this keyboard is not SILENT it does make a noise but it is soooo much quieter than any keyboard I have purchased before. I dont feel like everyone can hear me in the office typing. I am still figuring out all the keys, as far as color changes ect. I am not sure how it works for Gaming, I am not a gamer, As I said I purchased this keyboard simply for the look of it and the feel of it, it feels great.. Plus for the price, I couldnt believe the price and how great it looks and feels. It feels like a high quality ergonomic keyboard.

I bought this for my work from home job and love that it is wireless. The keyboard is a little more silent than other keyboards which is fine. It holds a charge for maybe a week since I use it for 8 hours a day. When its dying, the red light will come on to let you know and if you dont notice that, you will notice that the keyboard starts blinking. Would recommend.

When you have a certain taste that you love, stick with it. The RED DRAGON K-503 Wireless Keyboard is one of the best keyboards I have ever purchased. I purchased the The RED DRAGON S101-3 one year ago and I loved it ever since. Both KBs are practically the same in design except that the S101-3 is wired which becomes an eyesore cosmetically after time passes. Just like a DIYer like myself prefers cordless power tools, I also prefer wireless devices. It gives the workstation a neatly appearance. Especially if the devices have back lit capabilities to give it a space age ambience. So my amazon consumer friends, Invest in the Red Dragon K-503 Wireless Keyboard. It will give you the satisfaction.

Vey nice keyboard for gaming and everyday use. I like that you can use it at night without having a light on. I would recommend this to anyone who loves gaming

I originally bought the wireless one, but it would stutter quite often. Decided to get the wired version instead and it works flawlessly. Love all the RGB options as well.

I was on the market for a new keyboard that could be used for both office work and for gaming. Youll find that most gaming keyboards are very expensive, at least for my liking. This keyboard was by far the best choice for under $50. It has a good feel to it and they keys are very quiet, and have excellent up and down travel. The LED lights look great and are easy to turn off and on. My only complaints are probably personal ones. The first is that the keys feel small compared to an ergonomic Microsoft keyboard that had wide keys towards the middle with a slight bend. These are straight across and small so its going to take me some time to adjust to this. The other is that the keys do show oil from your fingers pretty easily, so regular cleaning may be important. Finally, most people probably want to know about battery life since it was a change in thinking to go from AA batteries to a rechargeable and non-removable one. I cant say whether it is good or bad, but so far in the few weeks Ive owned it, I have not had to charge it. I think its safe to say that the battery life is probably at least good enough or great.
