We bought two for upcoming travel, once we saw the weather forecast for rain! We researched and read reviews and decided on the Repel and are so glad we did! They’re a great size, nice grip and the automatic open/close button is wonderful! These umbrellas have the extra vent to help with wind. We were caught in some extreme gusts and while it did to an inversion flip, it quickly flipped back into its proper position with no damage to this little gem! Easy to open and close; has a convenient wrist strap (for those extra windy days or if you want to keep it handy for a sudden shower). It also comes with an nice little storage sleeve. They’re a nice weight (less than a pound) and will fit nicely in a backpack, tote or travel bag. Would definitely order again! And…super quick delivery.

Very sturdy umbrella. Love the way it opens. Love the blue color. Only issue is closing it takes two hands. It is quite firm and has to be pushed hard to close.

Update: Looks like I got a bad piece, after reading my amazon review, customer service contacted me and provided a replacement which is working fine. This umbrella broke within 2 months of use. The top part broke which wont let the umbrella open any more. I contacted customer care as it was 15 days outside Amazon return window, but they never responded- $25 down in the drain. Bad product and bad customer service.

A great compact umbrella that does what it says. My only gripe is the difficulty of putting it back in the protective sleeve. If that were more accessible (possibly an opening half-way with a velcro closure) I would give it 5 stars. Used for rain but I can see an advantage for sun use as well, however, I prefer a larger umbrella for sun use.
