It works after installing, after 2+ months, ghost behaviors occurred (random keyboard typing without human interaction).

Worked well

Good: No noticeable grid on the digitizer (some models have it if you hold the digitizer at an angle in the light). Home button works smoothly. Came with double sided tape preinstalled and some installation tools. Bad: Did not come with alcohol pads or wiping cloth. It is thinner and lighter than the digitizer that it replaced. Home button icon slightly skewed. Packed in bubble wrap sleeve WITH the tools, sounds like shipping damage waiting to happen. Notes: Purchased from BestSupplier (Your Merchant May Vary....). Taking time to clean off old glue on the iPad ensures good contact with the tape on the new digitizer. I used one of the included spudger to really scrape off the old residues. Remember to place electrical tape over the exposed contacts to prevent ghost touches! Heat gun is your friend on the removal of the old digitizer.

I’ve gotten plenty of glass replacement parts before but have had the most issues with this brand. I initially received a screen with the cable torn off so called customer care and got it replaced. I figured it was just a one time mistake since they have decent reviews. Just received the second one today and there’s some kind of glue or bubble on the screen. I felt both sides of the screen and the surfaces are completely smooth so it’s not residue. You also have to press the home button pretty deep for it to work. I had to put a layer of tape below it for it to fit properly. Pretty disappointed since I was hoping to order more at this price.

I replaced my cracked screen following the instructions I found on Youtube. Be watch the videos that show the whole process. And cover the copper at the bottom of the screen. Anyway, the screen works great until it gets cold. Then, for some reason, the top half of the touch screen stops working. I can reset it to get it to work again but it will only work for a short time before becoming unresponsive again. In a warm environment it has no issues. Sadly, the place I use the iPad most is in the cockpit of a helicopter flying medical evacuations and, especially this time of year, it is cold. So the iPad becomes a bit useless. Sigh.

I was expecting better quality. Also, the color white is a different white from the OEM. Other than that, product arrived in good working condition.
