Worked just as described. Gets pretty hot to the touch so keep that in mind. You will want to make sure your animal cannot touch this. I keep mine on 24/7 and have had for a few months. No issues at all. Would buy again.

We use the lamp over the bed of our old kitty, in addition to a warming pad under her bed. We live in cold Flagstaff and this warming lamp is perfect. It does not emit any lilight, just a gentle heat.
