Trashing, trashing everywhere. Knights and rats are really fun, plus it has more cards than any other single expansion.

This adds a whole new level of complexity to the game. Its fun to see how all of these cards can give you a different game every time you play. This is a must have addition to Dominion.

Favorite past time with Friends and we completely modified the rules to make this game insane our average play time is 10-12h XD

i would recommend any Dominion game. A little expensive but really fun and addicting (if you like strategy games). It does take a little bit to set up which can be annoying AND it take a long time to explain the game to a new player. But we love playing it.

I play a lot of dominion(several times per week, several games per night) and now own all the major expansions. I like dark ages the least. Not that its bad, but I just find the cards less useful than in other expansions. This is heightened by the very unique theme in Dark Ages. Theres lots of trashing cards in this expansion, and many that take advantage of trashing to get points, cards, coin, etc. Some even let you take cards out of the trash. However, the theme breaks down if you dont have a majority of your kingdom cards from dark ages. In other words, it doesnt play well with the other expansions.

Exactly what we were looking for

Many people may not like playing with this expansion. If you like playing an insular game with little attacks on others, this isnt for you. If you like playing a more vicious game with attacks and lots of trashing, this is for you. I recently played an hour long game using three of the cards from this deck and the winning score was 10 because it was hard to get enough money in your hand to buy things because of the ruins cards. I love a harder game so this is perfect for me. Not everyone agrees so look through the cards on gaming sites to decide if this is a way you want to go.

My little brothers and I wanted to get expand on our fathers game, Dominion, which he plays almost obsessively. I rely on Amazon for most of my orders, so it was only routine to get the game here. Sure, the delivery was prompt, but game itself was damaged on the corner, despite the fact, I bought it new. I shop on Amazon because of its fast delivery (for Prime members) and delicacy on the products; however, if this is the quality we get, I suppose going down to the Comic Games store is the way to go. :(

....of what are all good expansions actually. I had no Dominion products until recently and this was one of the first expansions I picked up. After reading up on the others this ones darker and trash oriented theme appealed to me more than the others. Not to matter as I quickly planned to and then did get them all.
