Been playing Dominion for a while, and I always tell people European Board games are basically college level versions of old school games like Monopoly, Risk, etc. Well that said, I just got this in and I reckon Dark Ages is a graduate level course. I havent played yet, but just looking through the cards, Im not really sure how the game is going to play, it seems most difficult, which I am very much looking forward to, because my friends and I have exhausted the Base and Seaside decks.

This is a great expansion which completely alters the manner in which the game is played. A fantastic upgrade for those who are getting a little too comfortable with the original or other expansion packs!

Another perfect Grandson birthday gift list item! Just what one of my grandsons asked for, and quite entertaining. I sent it directly to him, so I did not see packaging. I just know he was thrilled to get his gift in the mail.

My husband and I love Dominion! We like the Dark ages addition as an expansion! It adds a lot of new different cards to the game!

Many people may not like playing with this expansion. If you like playing an insular game with little attacks on others, this isnt for you. If you like playing a more vicious game with attacks and lots of trashing, this is for you. I recently played an hour long game using three of the cards from this deck and the winning score was 10 because it was hard to get enough money in your hand to buy things because of the ruins cards. I love a harder game so this is perfect for me. Not everyone agrees so look through the cards on gaming sites to decide if this is a way you want to go.
