I had the larger version, but they are basically the same thing. Fabric is strong and sturdy, and the zipper is bombproof. Also, if you leave it in the sun for a good while it will develop a nice patina that adds character.

use it for a range/ammo bag. Perfect!

Great little bag. I particularly like that I can run a small padlock through the zippers pull tab and the loop on the bag to lock it against folks who just want to borrow (whatever might be in my bag) for a little bit and forget to return whatever it was. Very sturdy canvas construction, with inside lined with small open pouches that I have found useless since it is a soft bag. Set it down once and anything you put in them will likely spill out. If I could make this bag myself I would not put them in there. They must be of use to someone though, and the inconvenience of having them in there is nil, therefore no star penalty.

Nice bag, but a little small for holding tools.
