Rothco Mechanics Tool Bag with Brass Zipper

This is my new Tool Bag, I bought it really to put my shaving kit in when traveling but after working with it, have now put it into daily use. Great construction, strong stitching and very tough material make this a really good deal for tools or just a bag to throw smaller items in when on the go! Highly recommended for travel or daily use. Side pockets are on both sides and very handy.

The real deal, heavy cotton canvas, oversize metal zipper, Masonite bottom. Been using these for years. Great toolbag for field techs.

This bag is very well made and will probably hold my field tools for the next two decades. Seems to be made of the same material as the older 80s-90s military mobility bags which was some indestructible stuff.

Perfect size for a basic hand tool kit for a vehicle: can fit all the basics, plus a lithium jump pack so long as it’s not huge, and a light, and you’ll still have room to spare. Small and sturdy enough to swap between vehicles very easily

exactly what i expected, its really perfect

Only bought for metal zipper option. I have had too many issues with cheap nylon zipper falure. A bag that should last a while.

Returned - smaller than depicted in the picture

I do not think this is the original GI issue bag. The canvas is heavy and the bag is well put together, but I seemed to remember that the original bags have a zipper guard with snaps. The photograph is true to the product in this respect (no zipper guard depicted). The snaps on the bag I received are close to the carry straps than as shown in the picture. This means that the two outside compartments cannot hold items that are the length of the whole bag.
