Rothco Mechanics Tool Bag with Brass Zipper

I ordered these twice... the first time, I got three, and opened one right away, reserving the other two for later. Mistake... since there was a mistake in the order and the other two shipped were Nylon models which I did not want.

This bag is very well made and will probably hold my field tools for the next two decades. Seems to be made of the same material as the older 80s-90s military mobility bags which was some indestructible stuff.

Good bag. I bought because it has a brass zipper instead of a plastic zipper. Seems to be strong enough to carry heavy items inside like I do. I recommend it, but I think its too expensive, in other words, if it were a few dollars less, I would buy several of them.

ordered this bag based on another review.....I got it and when I checked it out, I decided that Im getting about 5 or 6 more just because they are so handy to have around do I highly recommend this? You bet your brass-zippered bag I do!

I would definitely recommend.

The canvas is not as stiff as other bags I have used, and thus feels less rugged. It is sewn well, so I expect it to last. My wife wants one too.

I put all my loose sockets and screw drivers in this bag. I work a lot with well boxes on the asphalt and concrete. Id say I have about 20 lbs of tools in the bag and its still holding up. I just throw the bad on the ground and dig through it to find the tool I need. The straps are holding up fine and the zipper is still working like new. I would have thought it was have ripped by now, but the material doesnt look like its going to fail anytime soon. Id recommend this bag if you have something heave to carry.

Years back, I signed for a Mechanics Tool Bag while I was in the Army and its versatility stuck with me. One day, I saw a very cheaply made one at Harbor Freight, went home, and found a HIGH quality one here on Amazon at 1/2 the price. I ordered this black one, and also green one that I wanted just in case. I got the Rothco bag quickly and the quality was even better than I had seen and read about on the sales page. Get this, you wont be disappointed.
