Rothco Mechanics Tool Bag with Brass Zipper

I have bought tool bags like this in the past. Very good quality. Heavy duty zipper and material.

Only 4 stars since they havent been used a whole lot, but will edit my rating if needed. I got these for the sole purpose of making a tool kit for my wife and I to take trail riding. The atv always breaks down when you never have the tools to fix it! So far these bags have withstood multiple trails, being run over, and about 50 hours of rattling around full of tools in my cargo box. So far so good.

Good value, great product. With the brass zipper and heavy canvas construction you will have a hard time finding a more durable bag.

Toughest canvas Ive ever seen. I use mine for jumper cables, reflecters, flares, etc.. I keep it in my car. Nothing is going to damage this bag. Other possibilities are endless, Folds nicely for storage.

Ive bought 5 of these tool bags. 2 for myself. One for tools at work, one for tools at home. 3 for tool bags as gifts. The quality is excellent. You can get more in them than youd think from the dimensions. Ive been able to get the following in my home tool bag with room to spare. Small Maxcraft stubby hammer, Ridgid 6 in one screwdriver, Tekton 3/8 ratchet, Stanley 3/8 SAE socket set, Stanley 3/8 metric socket set, Craftsman 8 diagonal cutters, Maxcraft flex ratchet screwdriver, Dewalt 34 piece impact ready bit set, Tekton 3 piece 3/8 drive extension, Titon 13 piece SAE hex bit set, Titan 13 piece metric hex bit set, Stanley 8 long nose pliers, Channellock 8 WideAzz adjustable wrench, Channellock 6 WideAzz adjustable pliers, Channellock 8 slip joint pliers, and still have room. This is a GREAT bag.

The canvas is not as stiff as other bags I have used, and thus feels less rugged. It is sewn well, so I expect it to last. My wife wants one too.

I keep my gunsmithing tools in this bag. Trigger pull gauge, punches, screwdrivers, multitool; things of that nature. It holds them and is pretty well made. The size is slightly small, about the size of a shoebox but it works just fine.
