RVLock V4 Key Fob and Keyless Entry Keypad, RV/Motor Home Door Lock Accessories, Upgraded Full Metal Lock

Updated below. Simple to install. I love not having to carry a key. I have camped perhaps 30 days last year so the lock is not getting full-time use. The bad: The FOBs didnt work after just a few months. The keypads were heavily worn within 6 months cracked within 8 months. This is a known issue from the manufacturer given they sell replacement pads. Finally, the inside manual lock broke off in my hand while I was inside. The lock was great until it wasnt. Will I buy again? I dont know yet:) I really like have a keypad so that I dont have to carry my keys. Maybe $150 per year is the cost of the convenience. Its supposed to have a warranty but another common complaint about this product is the lack of customer service. I am not willing to spend a lot of time getting the run-around. Grrrr. UPDATE: As it turns out RVLock has great customer service. I wrote them about my problems and they immediately offered to ship replacement parts. No fuss. I wrote an email and they agreed and sent me a link to buy the replacements for $0. I elected to purchase an upgraded silicone keypad instead of an exact replacement. This is as good as I could have hoped for. I expect the new pad to last longer. These people stand behind their product and I am happy (again) that I made this purchase.

There is nothing to dislike about this product the design was wonderful strudy like the fact I use the pob to unlock my door at night when I get home I feel more secure than before well worth the money

I never liked the flimsy OEM lock and am very happy with the RVLock. Easy install, though tucking in the battery wires took a minute to figure out (just push the connector into the upper left space and the remaining wires are able to be flat against the lock plates). The beeping sounds can be annoying, but easily silenced by pressing and holding “1” until you hear a chirp. The fobs were easily programmed and worked fine (although there is a tiny lag between pressing unlock and the deadbolt retracting). In all, a great product with a lifetime warranty to boot - highly recommended!

Overall the lock was easy to install. I did have to apply upward pressure on the lock while I tightened the screws because the top of the lock did not quite cover the hole in the door. Also need to move the strike plate up a little for the latch to clear it. Programing the lock was easy too. Overall satisfied with the lock and its construction, installation and operation.

This lock has been worth every penny. I haven’t had a single issue with it and it’s extremely convenient. The key fob makes my life much easier, especially since my hands are always full trying to get inside.

I really enjoy this lock. Im purchasing my 3rd. I did have an issue with my 2nd one and Jake from tech support was awesome, He sent me a new control board immediately and it was super easy to install. about a month later the board went out again and he quickly sent out a whole new lock. They stand behind their product!

Product was easy to install on GD Imagine 2970RL. One key FOB did not work but customer service shipped replacement immediately. Nice to have extra security and not having to carry keys. Programming FOB and adding code was very easy.

From finding what would fit to ordering and installing simple. Finally a straightforward installation. Took long to find the screw driver then install. If you want security…. Buy this product….. you have a key (just in case), the key pad and two FOB’s wow…. Thank you RVlocks for make something simple to install but stand up to the outside world
