RVLock V4 Key Fob and Keyless Entry Keypad, RV/Motor Home Door Lock Accessories, Upgraded Full Metal Lock

We have broken and lost so many keys to our RV that is was causing us some serious stress since we rent our RV. Now our rental guests can use the key fobs, a physical key, or just enter the code to get in. This was worth every penny even though I somehow managed to break a screw when I installed it! Great product!!

This RV lock and handle work fine and fit my 1997 Road Ranger. It is getting hard to find parts that directly fit this old trailer(should get a new one but it is way too solid). For those of you that dont like the easy 10 minute install, May I suggest getting drunk twice on your one night off and working on it at midnight. Losing screws in the dark and in gravel made me thirsty. I will suggest using a manual screwdriver or different screws, my Dewalt snapped the head off a screw for the striker plate. The instructions say to plug in the wires and that you will hear a tone, mine decided not to make a tone. After another beer I proceeded to remove the provided batteries and lose these screws as well. I changed the batteries with new ones, drank two more brain grenades found the screws and still no tone. A few beers later I had a finished product and tested it. It works fine. It was easy to set the code and program the fobs( no fobbits were injured). I guess my lock just didnt make the initial tone and the Duracell batteries provided are fine. It does make a tone when locked and unlocked but its not as horrible as others have stated, at least as far as I remember.

My nephew is famous for coming into our camper while we’re not home and then leaving the door wide open. We got this and it’s been a life saver. The remotes are way more helpful than I would have thought. We have one next to the bed and when we forget to lock the door after we’re all settled, it is SO nice to just click a button and it’s locked. No more having to get up out of bed to lock the door. Our code has repeating digits. If you click them too fast together than it thinks you only clicked it once and won’t unlock.

Works great and easy install. Great not needing a key anymore. Took a little longer to install than advertised.

I saw numerous reviews about this on RV forums, groups and TikTok. I purchased for added security (no dups of keys) and was amazed at how quickly the install went. Literally took me 10 minutes from start to finish including programming. Now to see how she holds up over time!

This is the best thing we have ever added to our camper! I hated having to have my keys when traveling, going to the beach or even just going for a walk. No more juggling thing while looking for keys or fighting with the lock. Super easy and works great!

The functions and features are all there. Manual control for the main lock is still there. The deadbolt reacts as it should. Easy enough passcode and key fob pairing. The tones are obnoxiously loud or silent (You will let your neighbors know what you are doing with this). Functionally on silent it’s practically perfect. On the inside with all things considered its nearly see through dead bolt latch gives you a dwindled bit of optimism as it rattles in its placement. Im guessing there is a hole on the handle for a lanyard or something because you have almost no handle to actually close the door. Give me more plastic! Overall, looking forward to version 6…almost perfect.

The factory lock on our Jayco camper never worked very well. The lock was fine but the lock wouldn’t allow the door to be closed just but pushing it to latch. We had to hold the door latch open to close the door. After changing out to this new lock, which was incredibly simple, the door easily opens and closes just like a door should. The keypad and key fobs work perfectly, the fob works from a pretty good distance!!! It is also possible to lock the top lock with the key for extra security!!

Installation was straight forward and the lock works great. I wish I had bought this years ago. It is so nice to leave the trailer and not have to carry a key.
