20-04-2025My cat somehow learned to open our bifold door by first pushing right at the middle of the door, creating a small enough opening for him to squeeze through. Sometimes he would also push the middle of the bifold from the other side and literally locked himself out. We needed a solution where we can lock and unlock this bifold door from both side. This is a perfect solution. The design is easy enough to use and the material (plastic) looks to be strong enough. The only draw back would be that this lock will prevent those who are short (like kids under 12) from locking/unlocking the door.

Greater than one weekThe one thing that stands out about these closet door locks is that they are longer than any other one you will find. Most of the namebrand ones are very short only like four or 5 inches. Since these are much longer if a kid is sitting there wiggling the door that thing will not slide over like the little ones can do. It makes it much more sturdy lock for kids who are trying hard to get in the closet.

> 3 dayMy folding closet doors go all the way from floor to ceiling, and even with the extender my 52 self comes no where near being able to reach. They do exactly what they are supposed to do otherwise, but Im now having to go the store and diy an extender for the extenders.

> 3 dayThis is the best thing for bi-fold closets! My 2yr old son was CONSTANTLY going in his closet at nap time and taking everything out or he’d pinch his fingers. This solves both issues!!! It even comes with a little attachment piece if your doors are smaller you can put it on and have it work the same as standard doors!

> 3 dayI bought this to prevent my cats from opening my doors. The plastic of the main lock is really sturdy and doesnt bend when I put force on it. It also slides pretty well on wood. However, the plastic used for the rod to assist shorter people in reaching the lock dont feel great to use, as the rods bend a considerable amount and requires a little more force to slide the locks compared to if you are capable of reaching the lock without it.

> 3 dayMy cat kept opening the linen closet and the closet housing the AC unit. I found and ordered this item. When I received and opened the package, the setup was simple. All I had to do was slide the wand into the socket on the plastic bar. I opened each folding door a bit, and put the plastic bar on top to one side. I then closed the door and used the wand to slide the plastic bar to the middle of the door. The door cannot be opened with the plastic bar in this position. I tested it, so did the cat. The cat was not happy. I was delighted.

> 3 dayThese fit perfectly on our closet folding doors. They slide right over the doors and also slide very easily into place and or out of the way of the hinge section when you need to gain access. No tools required, nothing to assemble, other than using the extension rod if you want or need it. Made from nice durable polycarbonate that feels like it will hold up. They also include a spacer that might be used on thinner doors. Does exactly what I need it to do.

> 3 dayThese are great! We have a 2 year old that loves to climb and also loves food. Our pantry uses accordion doors so we use these to keep him out of there and they work fantastic. They do require a little bit of shuffling to slide over the hinge of the door but they do definitely stay in place no matter how much the doors get shaken.
