This is a great child lock for closet door. Super easy for an adult to move but keeps a 6 and 3 year old out.

These are great! We have a 2 year old that loves to climb and also loves food. Our pantry uses accordion doors so we use these to keep him out of there and they work fantastic. They do require a little bit of shuffling to slide over the hinge of the door but they do definitely stay in place no matter how much the doors get shaken.

I bought this to prevent my cats from opening my doors. The plastic of the main lock is really sturdy and doesnt bend when I put force on it. It also slides pretty well on wood. However, the plastic used for the rod to assist shorter people in reaching the lock dont feel great to use, as the rods bend a considerable amount and requires a little more force to slide the locks compared to if you are capable of reaching the lock without it.

The piece that comes with the Bifold lock for thinner doors does not snap in place. It is to small (or I should say it is the same size as the base piece) therfore can not snap Because of the price, I gorrilla glued it to the outside of the piece and that worked. I tried using it with out the extra piece, but by wiggling the door continuously my cats were able to move the piece over and open the door. If it wouldnt have been for that one flaw this is a good product

My cat kept opening the linen closet and the closet housing the AC unit. I found and ordered this item. When I received and opened the package, the setup was simple. All I had to do was slide the wand into the socket on the plastic bar. I opened each folding door a bit, and put the plastic bar on top to one side. I then closed the door and used the wand to slide the plastic bar to the middle of the door. The door cannot be opened with the plastic bar in this position. I tested it, so did the cat. The cat was not happy. I was delighted.

I cant believe how easy these were to use. I have bifold closet doors separating the finished and unfinished parts of my basement. I also have a ginger kitty who loves to open them and go where shes not allowed. No traditional baby-proof contraptions fit or worked and I didnt love the idea of drilling holes in the doors to install a latch. I took these out of the package and immediately put them on - that simple. Theyre sturdy and out of reach for animals and little ones. 100% would recommend!

Awesome product! My 2 year old had a habit of getting into his closet and pulling out all of his clothes, he wasn’t too happy when we put this on the doors! Very easy to put on and use!! Will be buying a second one for our laundry room.

Finding a lock for bi-fold doors is all but impossible. I found this and decided to give it a try. While this is not exactly a lock, it does the job of holding the doors closed. The installation is simple...just open the door a bit and drop it over the top of one of the doors. (There is no drilling or tools necessary.) To close the door, use the drop-down handle to slide it to the center. This will keep the doors from opening. When you want to pass through, just slide it over either door and the door can then operate as usual. We use it to keep a pet out of certain areas of the house. It is made of clear acrylic plastic and does not stand out. The only thing I found was there is only a handle on one side. So, to lock/unlock from the other side you must reach up and slide the actual lock back and forth. This is not really a problem, however it could be improved by putting a dropdown handle on both sides of the unit. They come two to a package so I just installed the second one with the handle on the other side. Mine slides easy and is not inconvenient.
