I bought these for my niece for her birthday and she seemed to really like them. She says they are bright and colorful and work well for her drawings.

These Moonlight pens produce a matte-finish, chalk-like surface, with what one might call high-visibility colors. This gives the effect of a modern-day bark painting or tapas-cloth. When overlaid with the Glazes, a stucco-like texture can be obtained, which I also like. Never having used such bright colors before I was a bit shy of them. Now I cant live without them. I love these pens! Also, the ink in the Moonlights doesnt seem to get stuck in the pen-cylinder as much as some of the other models of Sakura Gellies do.

I love how these pens glide on paper. The color is bright and beautiful. Japan makes the best pens!

Works well on black paper.

These pens lay down A LOT of ink! They dont bleed through the adult coloring book paper I used them on, and theyre great for what they are but....A LOT of ink! So not good for small detail work, and work carefully, since they will smear while wet. But if you get them knowing its a fairly broad tip, great for larger spaces, and watch for smearing I think youll find they are very cool!

Purchased these for my daughter because she discovered black post-it notes and nothing was showing up on them! These are great but they DO need a few seconds to dry as ... in her words... they go on like paint pens. Every color shows up!

Pretty sparkly colors. There is a ridge right where my fingers hold the pen so after a bit is uncomfortable but the color coverage is amazing.

I saw the recommendation to use these with a spirograph and I thought the colors would be briliiant, however, they are just okay. Im not that impressed for the price. I was expecting much more of a neon color and these are more pastel. I think if I was a teenage girl Id like to use these to doodle.
