Love these things and cannot find them anywhere locally.

These pens are great! The ink flows extremely smoothly and it shows up very bright on black paper. Im going to buy another set right now just to make sure I dont run out of any color in the middle of a project.

They were a few of the pens dry. Unfortunately half of the pens the ink was dried out.

So vibrant! These work great on many surfaces, including smooth rocks.

These are great paint pens with an opaque, thick coverage and bright colors. The problem is that they seem to ONLY work on paper- not plastic, not vellum, not primed canvas, not fabric. I do very detailed acrylic paintings on super-smooth primed canvas and Im always on the search for paint pens in different colors that have a nice pen tip (as opposed to a giant nib) and thought I would give these a try as Sakura claims they work on a bunch of different surfaces, but they only work on paper. I got a little bit of the color to come off the pen on a canvas that Im working on, and the pens dont paint smoothly, instead you just have to sort of dab the tip against the canvas multiple times to get a mark. On paper, however, they work beautifully. The colors are rich and vibrant, the coverage is smooth and opaque, the pens write super-smoothly. They take a little bit to dry so you have time to manipulate the wet paint with a wet brush if you want to do some softening of the line. If youre looking for paint pens for PAPER, these are great. But if you are looking for paint pens that work on a variety of surfaces, Id recommend the Poscas or the Graphik Painters by Derwent.

Used these pens for a Girl Scout project. They worked perfectly on black paper and the girls loved them. Colors are vibrant and go on easily. Will definitely come up with more craft ideas so we can use them again.

I wanted to get some pretty gel pens for journaling and eventually using a planner. With how they write so far, I think Im really going to enjoy these! These look/write even better than any of the (few) gel pens I had as a kid.

Love these! I had them when I was younger and totally forgot about them. Happened upon the one day and had to buy them! They write wonderfully and the colors are so vibrant.
