Ink streaks and two of the pens don’t work. I was excited to get them when I read the reviews but I must’ve gotten a bad batch because they are not very good pens. Furthermore, they are cheaper at Hobby Lobby.

I wish it had more colors available. My Yellow pen broke quickly after opening it but overall, I love the set so pigmented and such an effortless glide. Draws like paint.

these pens are great! the florescent colors are beautiful and glow wonderfully under blacklight, and even the colors that are not fluorescent have a glow to them. i use them all the time in sketchbooks, and when i let people use these, somebody always tries to steal them!

Very strange that the tips were already dirty with the gel ink when I opened them, even though the package wasnt opened at all. Im used to the tips being covered in the clear ball, but none of these were. Luckily I didnt have any issues using it, Ive only used it once though. The colors come out vibrant on dark paper which is wonderful. I love watching the ink get brighter as it sets.

I LOVE Sakuras gelly pens. Ive been using them since the fad of dark paper got started. By the way, where did all that dark paper go? I wish Id bought up all the black notebook paper I could get my hands on! Ahem, back to the subject. These Moonlight gelly pens by Sakura are very freeflowing, have a medium point, and as advertised on the package act like paint pens on most surfaces. Five of the ten colors are regular pens, with intense, vivid ink in different shades including a wonderful blue and a teal green thats very hard to find. The other five colors are what Id call neon but they arent described that way. The package lists these five colors as glow under black light. I havent got access to blacklight type lights, so I cant comment on how the pens perform when exposed to it. However, these neon shades are just as vivid and intense as the others, and offer a nice, lighter color contrast to the first five pens. I have used these to detail some celtic-type designs on the title page of a book I own, and have used them in various coloring-type books, as well as writing with them. Unless you are scrapbooking, it would be a waste to just write with this set of pens. They work so wonderfully as paint pens Im saving them for exactly that. The flow is excellent, easy control, quick drying (dont smudge for at least 30 seconds to be safe-when all wet looking areas are gone, the ink is dry, waterproof, etc.) The ink in these pens creates a slightly raised feel (very subtle, though) when the ink is dry-on paper. I havent tried them on other surfaces, though several are listed on the package as suggestions. I have a feeling Ill be ordering these again in the near future. I love the metallic, sparkle and other effects. Im on the lookout for some swirl type milky gel pens (as hard to find as black paper!), but these moonlight pens are an excellent addition to my pen collection! Ive ordered from this seller several times in the last 2 years and have been impressed with the professionalism, speed of delivery, quality of product and packaging every time! Go ahead and try these pens, you wont be disappointed.

I bought these for painting rocks and they work GREAT. Bold colors that really pop on even bare rocks. I will be buying more!

Saukura Gelly Roll pens are amazing! They write easy and last a while so long as you keep the cap covered.
