Bought this as an upgrade for my daughters laptop. It made a huge difference in boot times. I have several of these running in my own laptops and desktops. Never had a issue with Samsung, my oldest Samsung drive is 4+ years old. Highly recommend Samsung drives

Replaced a 1TB 3.5 inch hard drive on a slow Inspiron running an Intel i5 and 12GB RAM. Cloned the hard drive to the new Samsung 2TB using Macrium. When starting up on the new Samsung drive it seem like a new PC. The startup alone was significantly faster than before. Running apps, including graphic intensive ones was a breeze. Very pleased with the results!

I kinda wish I got the higher storage drive mainly because I didn’t think I’d get this many games after about a year! It’s easy and simple, and great for gaming.

I read some of the reviews and almost did not buy this Drive,

The SSD works great. Comes barebones, just the drive and a small paper booklet, no mounting screws, no usb-to-sata cable, but if you know how to replace a drive, you probably have all this stuff lying around anyway. Just know that youll need at least that cable if you wanna clone your drive. Im sure youve read enough of those before-and-after stories, so Ill just say that its much lighter, quieter, and faster than my old solid state hybrid drive.

Product worked great until it didnt work at all. Used for Photos backups (rarely) and it died less than a year after purchase.
