Needed extra room so replaced old no room drive with this. worked fine as D drive.

I took the time to install this in my gaming PC and it does not work the way its supposed to. It recognizes that there is a drive but wont let me access it. Im pretty angry, as I waited to install it after getting it and am now past the date of return.

I have a nice touchscreen laptop that should have been really fast, but it simply wasnt. It constantly bogged down and starting up could take over 5 minutes at times, which was maddening in this day and age. It always felt like it was churning through mud to do anything. I decided to try to go from the stock drive to this SSD and wow, what a difference. It doesnt feel like it is even the same computer. Now, it boots in under 20 seconds and I an start working in under a minute from pressing the start button. Fantastic upgrade. Really salvaged my laptop and made it fun to use, instead of a chore. Installation was easy, once you got the software and had an idea of what you were going to do. I got an enclosure for my old drive, but havent needed it yet- the migration was perfect. Highly recommend this drive as an upgrade for a machine running on a regular drive.

Some tips for you to check before upgrade a hard drive: check your mother board and power supply wire to make sure they have extra slots and wires for your addition hard drive. I have an 8 year old desktop. Upgraded the video card to a GTX1050Ti a year or two ago. Hardly a beast, but I can still game. The bottleneck in every benchmark was my HD. This SSD rocked my world. I highly recommend it. It made an old PC feel snappy and quick to load within seconds, not minutes.
