Using Samsung Magician, the read speed initially met the quoted speed, but over time it slightly decreased (sequential: 560 -> 537, Random : 67138 -> 43457). Write speed initially met the quoted speed, but drastically reduced over time (Sequential: 528 -> 77, Random: 53466 -> 19287). Guessing individual example would be different due to hardware differences. Overall it improves my experience with all program loads, its way faster than a tradition hard drive.

SSD drive made a believer out of me. I was skeptical, but I cloned the OS over, unplugged it, switched it out with my old hard drive and this bad boy just worked great. I cant emphasize how much it seems like I got a new super charged computer. For $100 I basically have a new computer that does everything lightning fast now. It used to take several minutes to boot up and be usable, now it may be 20 seconds.

This SSD has great value--it installs easily and is very, very fast. One TB of storage is plenty.

I had a WD SSD that I bought less than a year ago which crapped out. There were so many hoops to jump through with WD to get a warranty replacement I just gave up and bought this Samsung. Everything I have that is Samsung always works perfectly, and customer support is easy to reach if I do have questions. No more going cheap, will stick with Samsung from now on (it was only $10 more than the WD SSD)

Purchased to replace a HDD in an old Lenovo laptop. Install was perhaps a dozen small screws and fairly straightforward with a youtube DIY. Laptop had a recurring 100% hdd error which has not reappeared since installing the SSD. It seems to run cooler and faster. Definitely recommend if you want to breathe new life into an older hdd machine.

Huge difference after upgrading from a HDD, I just hope itll hold the same performance after its 3years limited warranty is over.

excellent and easy to install clone disk

Replaced an SSD of 256gb that is a few years old for an upgrade in storage space. i hate the boot drive SSD to Spinny drive storage array. the SSD always ends up getting filled up regardless what you do. so now i am running just this one drive for everything boot and storage. transfer rates are much faster than i expected and installing windows 10 on the drive went much fast than normal. it popped right into place of my old samsung SSD and i just started from scratch instead of transferring from the old drive. I am super happy with this 1TB SSD so much in fact that i will be looking into upgrading my laptop as well. Good buy for sure and great upgrade in my opinion

Ive used it for 3 Months now as an internal drive for work files, and it is still as fast as it was the first day I bought it, cant complain.
