Bring your own bracket. Great SSD, thin profile, laptop or desktop cable. Bought this for a game that is very greedy for gigabytes, Im looking at you Ark! I moved everything over to it, runs like a charm. Been running it a few months now, quiet as a mouse.

Together with expanding the RAM memory of my laptop to 16 Gb, I replaced (cloned) my old HDD uaing Samsungs application. The upgrade took under 1 hour and really transformed my 5-year laptop !!!

Our desktop PC has been running really slow for years and I know the root cause is the hard disk drive. I know that if we switched over to a solid state drive, it will be much faster. Thanks to all the reviews people wrote here. I didn’t know that all it takes is to migrate all the data from the old drive to the new using the Samsung Migration software. I bought the SSD, downloaded the Migration tool, cloned the disk, then switched to the new drive. It took less than 6 hours. Now it takes just a few seconds to boot up instead of minutes like before. Programs run instantaneously after a mouse click. We will keep this desktop a little longer.

Went from a 1TB hard drive to this 4TB SSD. It was easy to install since it used the same connections. My load times went from minutes to seconds. It now takes me an average of 10-15 seconds from when I push my power button to when I’m actually on my desktop opening apps. Was one of the best things I’ve bought for my computer.

I connected it to my desktop PC and it didnt show up. I went to disk management and it showed it had two partitions. One was 2048gb and the other was around 1930gb.

This 4TB SSD hard drive has a capacity of almost 3TB. I think I got a defective hard drive and I will return it.

I wondered if I was able to upgrade my PS4 Pros hard drive, did some digging and plenty of reading, and found some of my best options for upgrading the hard drive. The 870 QVO and the 860 EVO were the two that I was looking at but the 870 was newer so I just went for that since benchmark ratings were relatively the same. It took about a day before it really started to kick in but it is most definitely noticeable and significantly faster than the standard Travelstar 5k1000 the PS4 pro comes with. Game loading times are minimal, video clips save near immediately, navigating through the XMB and all apps is always at peak performance, I am 100% satisfied with my upgrade.

Sequential Read/Write performance reaching up to 560/530 MB/s provides best in class performance via the SATA interface. Accelerated read performance up to 13% faster than 860 QVO for added benefits for everyday computing. 870 QVO provides adequate amount of TBW for daily use, equivalent to 3 bit MLC SSDs and offers up to 1. Expanded capacity up to 4TB for client SSD in 2.5” 7mm form factor. 720 TBW for 2TB model and 1,440 TBW for 4TB model. whichever comes first..
