Bought this as an upgrade for my daughters laptop. It made a huge difference in boot times. I have several of these running in my own laptops and desktops. Never had a issue with Samsung, my oldest Samsung drive is 4+ years old. Highly recommend Samsung drives

When I say this thing came broken, I’m not talking about bumped during shipment or anything. It literally won’t register to the computers. We have done a lot of changing of formatting on the computers, multiple computers, and nothing worked for it. Genuinely just came broken.

So i had it installed for few months now and i can say this:

An excellent replacement for the laptop.

No reason to buy a faster ssd (you wont notice a difference)

I have replaced all of the boot drives in my computers with SSDs. I have mostly bought Samsung drives, although they are a little bit more expensive. The Samsung Magician software, can be used to clone the old drive exactly, which makes the transition all the more easy. Unfortunately, the software will not work with anything but a Samsung drive as the target drive for cloning.

All you need to do is plug it in and start downloading everything! Fast speeds which is great for gamming, especially with the larger games of today, and downloading large files like updates. This drive gives you a variety of size options so you can get exactly what you need!
