    The SSD worked great for only 8 months. Then suddenly died, lucky all my data was safe on the cloud. When it died, it totally died and was not detectable on any computer either through a operating system or bios.

    I use this NVMe card in a NVMe to USB 3 adapter to transfer large files from one computer to another. On a USB-C Thunderbolt port it transfers files at a sustained data rate of 500-600 MBps. It also can be used inside a computer plugged into an M.2 connector on the motherboard where I suspect it would support an even faster data transfer rate.
